We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Madelyn Rose. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Madelyn below.
Hi Madelyn , thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I first knew I wanted to pursue music when I was 14 starting to record,, produce mix and master my own EP. At this point I had played piano and sung all my life however I never thought it would be possible until I got hands on myself!

Madelyn , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
When I was 4 I began taking piano lessons and continued to for about 10 years. Along the way I taught myself guitar and started singing at the age of 6. The problem for me at such a young age was that I was incredible shy. Because of that, I had a feast of performing. However when I turned 14 I started to come out of my shell, and starting sharing my music with others. It brings me joy to share my music with others, it felt like it transported me into another world. Those feeling are what led me to peruse a career in music!

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
I think one way people can support artists in general is to be more open minded. When I listen to music or read a new book I am fast at skipping or just giving up at first if I don’t like the content. But after a while, or a few listens you start to realize the beauty of a song or its lyrics.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding part of being an artist is seeing people relate to my music. Giving people a sense of normalcy or relatability in heartbreak or love is what gives me the motivating to keep sharing my music or personal life in my songs!
