Hi Maddie & Matt, thanks for joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

Ghost Dog Media, LLC was named after a clients testimonial about having us a part of their marketing team. A client that we were working with on a monthly basis doing social media management, website management and digital marketing materials one day mentioned that they felt as though we were a ghost in their organization. Her reasoning was they were seeing a substantial amount of growth from our digital marketing efforts and it was going so smoothly working beside us all while not feeling overwhelmed by our presence. They also mentioned their delight for our continuity when it came to translating their message to their customers! So that is where Ghost came from and as far as the dog part, that purely came out of our passion for our furry companions.

Maddie’s Moments Photography was named after the power of capturing a moments in time that were worth cherishing and after my own name, Maddie in hopes to leave behind a legacy that of beautifully captured moments.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We are a husband and wife team, Matt and Maddie, that have grown and are continuing to grow two beautifully flourishing businesses. Our digital marketing company Ghost Dog Media, LLC covers all services that fall under the marketing umbrella from website maintenance/design, social media management, brand creation, videography, photography and more! We are proud to become our clients companions in the digital marketing world! We are dedicated and driven to succeed our clients goals. Our personality characteristics provide us and our clients with the digital marketing paradise they dream of, from continuing our education regularly, our passion for creative efforts and flexibility we are able to go above and beyond setting us a part from others.

We also continue to pour our passion into Maddie’s Moments Photography. We capture moments in time for families, couples, mothers-to-be and more!! We love getting to connect with so many people in our community and we are blessed to be a part of so many precious moments! We strive to make photos fun for the whole family! Our goal is to have you leave with kids asking, “when do we get to see Maddie again?” We will play games, enjoy lots of laughs that will all accompany amazing photos in your hands. We are dedicated to our creative passions, because of that we take pride in what sets us a part. We provide all of our photos in black and white as well as color! We also return your images within a week – usually you see your moments the next day!!! We love to be fast with turn around times, because waiting is no fun!

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

Ghost Dog Media, LLC and Maddie’s Moments Photography were once upon a time a hobby. It began with a photography class in college that soon led into taking photos for friends and family (not paid). After realizing my passion for the art of photography I continued to donate my time towards growing my portfolio. With my major as marketing, my photography business opened up the door for helping clients with marketing as well! When meeting my husband, Matt in college we decided to start Ghost Dog Media, LLC as he was providing his own clients with similar services and videography! Our passion quickly turned into the blessing it is today, a full-time, two-business company.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being a creative in our industries are hearing couples, families, etc. be thrilled with their photo/video session! A simple “thank you” or “I appreciate your eye in our moment” goes farther than most would think. It is very rewarding hearing those words knowing you made a difference and were able to capture those moments in time for your clients to cherish. The most rewarding thing about the digital marketing industry is getting to watch our clients passion flourish as we help them grow. We are helping them build their dream business with the client community they prayed for and that is feeling that is unmatched.
