We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lynnette Kile. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lynnette below.
Hi Lynnette, thanks for joining us today. Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
“As a mom I find myself as the one that makes all the magic happen. I’m a giver, oftentimes a sacrificial giver. I love my family with all my heart but I was in a funk. It was time to invest in myself and my happiness. After working with Lynnette, I now know who I am (I lost that for a bit), my compass is stronger and I’m able to make better decisions. I am now connected to my joy and what makes me tick. I understand my value and worth. My lows are not as low and my highs are higher. I feel a deeper sense of connection in my relationships than ever before. There’s a new level of respect for myself, my needs and my boundaries. It makes me feel excited for what the future has in store for me, whether that’s continuing on as I am now or with my bigger goals. I feel like investing in my happiness as a mom is the secret sauce to life! It’s truly the gift I would give everyone I love, knowing what I know now.” -Charlene R
Lynnette, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
When I became a mom overwhelm took over my life. While I was filled with love for my children I was equally filled with guilt. I felt like all the other moms had parenting figured out and I was failing. I was doing things I never wanted to do (yelling at my kids), and losing my shit way too frequently. After my first little girl, I worked full-time and battled to balance it all. I was living the career life of my dreams, but my personal life was a hot mess. I had no time to rejuvenate and no energy for what I loved (date nights and girl time!). Then, my second little girl came along and I decided to stay home. That’s when an even bigger struggle hit that I never saw coming.
I STRUGGLED TO FIND MY PLACE IN THIS WORLD.
To go from glamorous traveling saleswoman to milk covered, dog-tired, oftentimes all-day pajama lady, I was lost. I felt a burning desire to do more with my life. I knew I wanted to connect more-with people, the earth, and myself. Part of that people connection was my children. I wanted to be a different type of parent than how I was parented. So, I read, studied, and practiced what I now share with other moms.
The tools to keep overwhelm at bay and feeling confident in your every move.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR…
Hooray!! You’re a mom. You’re doing all the things! And making it look good on the outside. But on the inside do you feel…You don’t have enough energy to do it all? You’ve lost yourself in motherhood and getting back to YOU is crucial to your sanity and your family? Feeling guilty and overwhelmed all the damn time is NOT how life should be!
LET ME GUESS…
You can’t quite wrap your head around what a more fulfilling life looks like and how to get there? You’re unhappy and can’t even remember what to do to get yourself in a better place? Every decision you make has you questioning yourself? You’re trying to get more organized to have direction and purpose but it feels like you’re just spinning your wheels?
If so, you’re not alone. You don’t have to keep struggling this way, it’s exhausting.
I’m a certified life coach for overwhelmed moms of young children that are ready to gain control of their days so they can feel proud, accomplished, free from mom guilt, and a deeper connection with those they love. I’m passionate about people and love having conversations that bring on those “a-ha!” moments.
It is my purpose here on earth to help moms create a life of ease and fulfillment.
THIS IS WHY I LOVE WORKING WITH MOMS OF YOUNG CHILDREN!
I am one. I get you. Through the work with my clients, I realized every single person desires a life of more ease and fulfillment. And that is exactly what we have worked on and they have achieved.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I really started to find my flow when I fully recognized where my clients “hang out.” My ideal clients are moms of young children and initially I thought it was mostly yoga studios, daycares, and other workout go-to’s like Fit4Mom. But then I started to dive in to Facebook groups for moms, connecting with pediatricians, OB-GYN’s, Child Therapists, and beauty service providers (botox, laser hair removal).
In addition to a more focused reach to my ideal client, I started deepening my support of other local small businesses. Through our networking conversations we agreed to mutually support each other in conversations with others in the community.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
I was 35 when I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up. I am now 100% confident that I am living out my life’s purpose. Coaching moms to their highest self is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done and can imagine doing. I came to this conclusion through some deep soul-searching, a super strong support group (friends and family), and the vision and confidence to succeed. And now I’m here in my third year of business and not only coaching moms, but also running vision board workshops and speaking to girls and women across the US. It is the most incredible career I could have ever imagined. I truly feel everything that has happened on my life’s journey has been to lead me to the place I am now.
