We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Linda L. Eubanks a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Linda L. thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Some of the most interesting parts of our journey emerge from areas where we believe something that most people in our industry do not – do you have something like that?
So many people in the organizing and coaching space think it’s just about cleaning up, making things look pretty, or finding a system that works for everyone.
But here’s where I differ—and where things get a little unconventional. I believe that if you don’t know who you are, your space will always reflect that inner chaos. You could have the most gorgeous, perfectly organized home, but if you’re not in tune with yourself—your values, goals, desires—that clutter will find its way back, both physically and mentally.
I came to this realization when I was helping a friend organize her life.
We did everything, the labels, the bins, you name it. But a few weeks later, her space was just as chaotic as before. That’s when it hit me: Clutter wasn’t just “stuff”, It’s an outward reflection of unresolved emotions, being bisy at work, mental fatigue and other things she hadn’t dealt with. Once we started digging into who she was, what she wanted, and the things she needed to let go of emotionally and mentally, her space naturally aligned with that version of herself.
That’s when I knew that true organization only about systems; it’s about self-awareness.
It’s deeper than that.

Linda L. , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Linda Eubanks, the founder of Black Label Living Group and some call me The Declutter Coach.
My journey into the world of organizing, consulting, and coaching began with a simple realization—most people feel stuck not because they don’t know how to organize their living spaces, it’s because they haven’t organized their lives from the inside out.
My passion for helping others find clarity started from my own experience of feeling overwhelmed by life’s clutter—physical, emotional, and mental—and how that clutter held me back after my divorce. I remember sitting on a hotel floor with a one dollar composition book. In that book, I chose to reorganize my life to become the dopest version of me..
That’s how the Concept of Personal Organization was created.
I offer a unique blend of services aimed at service-based business owners, primarily women who are ready to step into their power but feel buried under the weight of their responsibilities and cluttered environments. Black Label Living Group is centered around life coaching, residential and commercial cleaning, home organization, and personalized business consulting for women. But more than that, I help clients uncover who they really are, which I believe is the foundation of every transformation. Whether it’s organizing their business, their home, or their life, it all starts with knowing yourself first. What sets me apart is that I don’t just offer cookie-cutter solutions. I take a holistic approach to decluttering—focusing not only on the physical aspects but also on the emotional and mental clutter that’s keeping my clients from reaching their full potential. My clients are what I call “the 1%”—not necessarily because of their wealth, but because of their drive to live an exceptional life. I help them tap into that 1% potential and give them the tools to create a space that reflects the life they want to lead.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the lasting change I see in my clients. It’s not just about organizing their workspace or decluttering a closet—it’s about them stepping into a version of themselves they didn’t even know existed. I’ve had clients who were able to launch businesses, mend relationships, or even take control of their health because they finally had the mental and emotional clarity to focus on what truly mattered.
What I want people to know about my brand, Black Label Living Group, is that we are here to help you transform, not just organize. Whether you’re a service-based business owner, a woman juggling personal and professional chaos, or someone simply looking to get their life back in order, I’m here to help you create the space—physically, mentally, and emotionally—for the life you’ve been dreaming of. It’s about more than just clean spaces; it’s about finding the clarity to live a fulfilling life.
So, if you’re ready to step into your 1%. let’s do this!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I was working a 9 to 5 government job, and while it paid the bills, it left me feeling drained, bored, and completely unfulfilled. I knew there had to be more to life than this routine, something that allowed me to explore my passions, connect with women, and actually make a difference.
But at the time, I didn’t know what that looked like. So, I started a virtual assistant business on the side, thinking it would give me the flexibility and freedom I craved. It was my first step into entrepreneurship, and while I enjoyed the work but something still felt off. I wasn’t completely aligned with my purpose yet. I kept thinking, “This isn’t it, there’s more I want to do, more I can give.”
That’s when I transitioned into coaching.
I had this burning desire to help women not just organize their lives, but truly transform them. I wanted to be the one who could walk them through the clutter—both physical and emotional—and help them step into their full potential. But the day job still loomed large, taking up my energy and keeping me from fully diving into my purpose. Every day at work, I felt like I was shrinking a little, like my true self was being stifled.
After some time, the weight of trying to juggle both finally got to me. I gave up on the business. I told myself, “Maybe this isn’t for me. Maybe I should just stick with the safe government job and forget about this dream.” But that little flame never went out. No matter how much I tried to push it down, I knew deep inside there was more to life than just clocking in and out at a job that didn’t fill my soul.
That flame, is what kept me going. I started small, building my confidence and refocusing my energy. Little by little, I got back into it—rebuilding my brand, refining my purpose, and eventually launching Black Label Living Group. That resilience to keep going when I was tired, when I didn’t know how it would all work out, is what got me here today.
Now, I’m living in that purpose, helping women create the clarity and space they need to thrive. And that, to me, is everything.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was that I could show up as my authentic self and not feel ashamed or like I didn’t belong.
You see, coming from a corporate and government background, there’s a very clear mold they expect you to fit into—how you speak, how you present yourself, even how you interact with others. It’s all very structured, very “proper.” And I learned early on that if you didn’t fit into that mold, you were seen as less professional or out of place.
For a long time, I believed I had to keep parts of myself hidden to be successful. I downplayed my personality, my way of speaking, my passions. I’d put on that corporate mask every day, following the script of what was “acceptable.” But deep down, it didn’t feel right. I wasn’t being true to myself, and that lack of authenticity started to eat away at me.When I transitioned out of that world and into my own business, I still carried that mindset with me, thinking that people wouldn’t take me seriously if I didn’t fit into a certain box. But over time, I realized that the real power comes from being genuine and showing up fully as yourself. My clients, especially the women I work with, needed to see me—not some polished, cookie-cutter version of a business owner, but someone who spoke their language and could meet them where they were at.Letting go of that corporate persona and embracing my authenticity was a game-changer. Once I started speaking from the heart and showing up unapologetically as myself, everything shifted. It allowed me to connect with my clients on a deeper level because they could see that I wasn’t just here to give them advice—I was here to walk alongside them, flaws and all.
That’s something I never learned in the corporate world, and it’s been one of the most freeing lessons I’ve ever experienced.
