We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Liam. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Liam below.
Liam, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
I like to tell myself “everything happens the way its suppose to & at the perfect time”. Although I believe that & it gives me peace, I still wish i started sooner. I think everyone does. Time & youth is valuable, of course i wish i could of known what i know now at an earlier time, but it isss what it isss. Ideally i would have made better content & gotten into music/acting at a younger age. I think i would of been able to pick up the trends easier, skills easier & had less to lose than i do now as a 29 year old man.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Liam Donafee, I am an entertainer, social media content creator & actor. I first got into this career when i was young making dumb internet videos with friends in high school. I always loved making people “feel something” anything. Sadness, Happiness, Laughter, Shocked ETC. I love emotions & If i can make someone feel that makes ME feel good. Mostly i hope to make people laugh, but any emotion. I then turned 18 and moved straight to LA , signed with an agent and manager to start pursuing acting. I was making dumb in my car food reviews during this whole time & slowly fell away from acting and started gaining a passion more for online creation again. I felt like I had more control making my own content than waiting on a casting director to say “yes” to me. I thought everything good that has happened to me in my life was because I said “yes” to myself instead of waiting for someone to say “yes” to me. So finally i started making tiktoks (comedy, food etc) and they blew up. I posted almost 3 times everyday for a year and ended up with 4 million followers & a career. Through everything I’ve learned that consistency prevails all.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is to make people feel, Live the best life i can possibly live & Do what makes me happy. A week before my dad died I asked him “what should i be when i grow up?” and he said “happy”. Since then i try to void anything that makes me unhappy. Its hard cause this is life, there will always be things that make me unhappy, but my goal is to make myself and others happier in any way i can.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
