Lettie Marie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard
At LMLA we do our best to stay ahead of trends and have the latest most innovative services available. However, one thing that we do differently is prioritizing our clients above anything. Making sure that every client leaves, satisfied and in love with there experience. Sometimes this industry can be clouded by vanity and customer service comes second. At LMLA customer service comes first always!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Lettie Marie and I opened LMLA in January of 2021. We are a full service salon & day spa based in West York Pa. We have a wide variety of services, over 100 to be exact. We have all licensed professionals who are passionate about everything they do! We specialize in facials, waxing, hair, and makeup. But we also do body contouring, lashes, all brow services and more. We have a large variety of retail for all hair and skin concerns. I am the most proud of my team and how strong and talaneted these women are! I also am an educater offering master classs for license professional to elevate their brand and skill set!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I opened in 2021. The hight of Covid. If that wasn’t already enough of a challenge, I also have had to get through a potential recession as well as as presidential election. People may not realize that that affects small businesses heavily. When everyone else thought a day spa and salon wouldn’t succeed I went harder. Being open for close to 5 years now is a blessing.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
CUSTOMER SERVICE! Genuinely, if you continue to improve your skill set and prioritize your clientele they will come and it will grow. Word-of-mouth is huge and it doesn’t matter how skilled you are, if you’re customer service does not match the skill set, it will heavily hinder your business.
