We recently connected with Leonardo Mujica and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Leonardo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?
My first payment as an artist I didn’t even believe it, I was selected to work for Coca Cola being part of the “anthem” commercial for LATAM being the protagonist for 2 of the main vignettes and by then I obtained a remuneration of 600 USD and for me it was the beginning of a majestic journey in what is the audiovisual artistic medium, the emotion did not fit in my chest, it was a sensation similar to when you inflate a balloon with helium and it gets lost in the clouds

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I started my career 16 years ago in my native country Venezuela, where I started as a model in a male beauty pageant called “Mister Earth”, I began to gradually get involved in the world of acting, (a world that I was passionate about since I was little) I had small participations in novels and television series in my country and I even had the opportunity to participate in a couple of film productions.
I started my international career in Argentina, a country that opened its doors to me working for ecommers and fast fashion houses, I began my negotiations with an international agency to be my mother agency which is Gustavo Granados management, which is located in Miami, there and thanks to my agency I managed to travel to a few countries including India, the Philippines and Indonesia.
I had the opportunity to debut on the Mexican screen in a television production which the National Association of Mexican Actors (ANDA) opened to me, giving a turn to my acting career. I am currently in the United States looking to expand my career as an actor much further in series, movies and audio visual productions.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
From my experience and satisfaction, the best thing an artist can have is the admiration of an audience, the enriching applause and the constant support of a specific audience.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I have created the audience that I have on my social networks over time, I have not been the most dedicated to social networks because from my perspective I see them as extremely toxic in terms of how they consume you and how they are consumed, I have not sought to be a content creator chained to likes or comments but I have been a content creator who has not followed currents and who always tries to leave something positive or some teaching, today we can see many “wise men” on social networks who threaten great communities just using AI tools like Chat GPT for example.
Being yourself on social networks is the best way to create a healthy community that values all the content you create with little or a lot of effort, educational quality content will always be highly valued, try to teach your community something new and you will see how They thank you, remember that entertainment is the basis of this whole issue
