We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful LegendofLinc. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with LegendofLinc below.
Thanks for joining us! We’re excited to have you contribute your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
Being a music artist has taken years of research & development. I am grateful that I was in a position to gain experience in performing arts at an early age. Not only did I develop my musical skills, but I also developed acting and dancing skills that I now utilize in my performances. I had the pleasure of learning from a plethora of close mentors who have spent time in the music industry. These factors really helped me build a solid foundation in my musical talent as well as my understanding of the music business and how it operates.
I do wish that I would have committed myself to learning an instrument or two while I was a kid. I was more interested in playing basketball & video games. I’m sure I will develop the patience to learn an instrument as I gain more resources, but I guess I’m more like James Brown. I feel like my purpose is to lead with my voice.

That’s amazing! We love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, may you take a moment to reintroduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started off just wanting to write for other artists, but I didn’t have a connection with any artists or publishing companies who would be interested in my services. So I decided to just record the songs myself. Although I started off as an R&B artist, in 2018 I found my gift in rapping. I had reconnected with a childhood friend who inspired me to sing & rap. At this point of my career, I have released over 60 songs, performed in multiple shows & I am currently in the process of launching my clothing brand.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Again, I have been blessed to receive knowledge from several close family & friends who have experienced success in cultivating a social media audience. Knowing your target audience is key. I consider my target audience to be women between the ages of 18 and 35. A method that has helped my engagement has been mass commenting. I try to comment on between 50-100 posts a day of women who follow me or whom I would like to follow me.
In order to get what you want, you must be willing to give others what they want. By helping my target audience increase their engagement, it is more likely that they will engage with my content as well. Of course, you need to have great content that your target audience would be interested in engaging with.

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
I admit that I was skeptical at first, but after doing my research for over a year, I am now a huge supporter of NFTs. From a music perspective, NFTs incentivize fans to invest in their favorite artists in exchange for exclusive perks and possibly future royalties based on the NFTs value. This is a great opportunity for up and coming artists such as myself to create value around our art.
I look at NFTs like stocks. As my stock rises, my NFTs can become more valuable, which will help my supporters and I make more money. If you are interested in purchasing my first NFT collection, click the link at the end of this article.
