Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lee Santos. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Lee, appreciate you joining us today. Too often the media represents innovation as something magical that only high-flying tech billionaires and upstarts engage in – but the truth is almost every business owner has to regularly innovate in small and big ways in order for their businesses to survive and thrive. Can you share a story that highlights something innovative you’ve done over the course of your career?

Mine is my Bromelain Cream Pain Relief cream I came up with using my pineapples in Jamaica as the main ingredient for the actual pain relief itself .

I knew that Bromelain was used in surgery and in recovery for inflammation, so i decided to make a sunburn cream first, then I realized it worked on almost ALL pain within less than 15 minutes.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I started as a travel agent over 39 years ago and specialized in cruises and honeymoon travel and fell in love with Jamaica. I knew I would retire there someday..

Then in 2019 I bought Castle Gordon in Port Maria in St Mary Parish Jamaica . It looked more like the prison than a farm at that time, overgrown with a falling down chain link fence .

My cab driver who picked me up at the bus station and I hit it off , he kept an eye on me while I tried to figure out what to do. Eventually he became the manager of my farm and he is also the deacon at the church we donate ALL our crops to .

We donate thousands of pounds every year to the church which gets distributed to the community. I also buy toys in the US every Christmas and bring them to the kids at my church with candy and church presents too.

Our motto is We’re here for the NEEDY, NOT the greedy!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I’ll be at the COLORADO CHRONIC PAIN CONVENTION in Vail CO this October for the second time. Last year we were a huge hit! It’s all doctors and nurses involved in pain management. They loved our cream so much, they said we were their favorite booth and invited us back this year!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

The trick is this, I’ve been on social media forever, had a blue check mark and thousands of followers on twitter before Elon Musk bought it. I got off it immediately when he did and then built the magic trio I call it.
