We recently connected with L.B. TPG and have shared our conversation below.
L.B., thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we talk about all of your success, let’s start with a story of failure. Can you open up about a time when you’ve failed?
In my industry Failure happens often. With the music business you learn how to take L’s so well to the point where the wins feel strange, but when you get that “W” it just reminds you to keep at it, at least in my opinion.lol I think some of the biggest Ls I dislike to take Is working with an Artist/Label who is ready to push a song you produced then decides at the last minute to scrap it and go another direction. This is where I learned patience and not to take business to personal and celebrate your wins, but be ready for your next plan of action! Whats next!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Im L.B. TPG a music producer from Jax, FL and I got into producing music to keep myself out of trouble. Making beats was an escape from my surroundings and I’m glad I made the decision to continue to pursue it. I think the most notable thing I picked up on when working with other creatives is they always mention that I bring the best out of them and that by itself motivates me to keep going. One thing I will say about my brand is that learning from mistakes make you wiser and from those mistakes is how you build your brand stronger. Trail and Error
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
For Me I decided to get out here and put applications in. There’s nothing wrong with a job. You can meet some cool people and on top of that be able to set money aside to reinvest it back into yourself or a team your building with. Whether that’s a small savings or big savings. Set yourself some money to the side.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think what helped me the most in building my rep is simply being genuine. Im not a salesman at all, but If you decide to work with me you get an all around cool experience. I’m a chill person, but not afraid to be honest and will get an artist to tap into a different side of themselves when creating. x
