Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kristin Lindgren. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kristin, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
At times one must follow a path no matter the risk. I had to follow my path no matter the risk, I knew it with every fiber of my being. Many have had their calling to follow a path. Have you ever taken a huge risk and it felt like it was something that felt so right that the risk no long mattered?
In January 2021 a fire ignited in me with flames I had no control over. We were in the middle of a pandemic and The CDC just announced that it had found at least 22 confirmed cases of the more contagious SARS-CoV-2 variant in Florida. Yet, at the same time, as soon as I heard about an amazing Targeted Cryotherapy device that reduced Fat and Pain, and that no one had it in our area, I instantly knew what I was meant to do. I knew I was meant to open a healing and beauty service with the device. It was not a decision, it was a calling, a divine path.
The more I thought about helping people look and feel amazing, the more I knew it was what I was meant to do. I love helping people. I love making people happy. As you age, there is nothing better than a body that looks and feels great.
Did I have any spa experience, no, lol. Had I ever opened a business of its kind, no, lol. Did that scare me or even feel like it mattered, NO, lol. Was I funded well, no, lol.. Was I crazy? Yes, absolutely I was!
I went down the divine path, I faced supply chain delays, which caused significant delays in finding a retail space. Yet, if you are going to be a successful business owner you must be at least a little crazy :)
Money was scarce, debt was rising, I just needed the device to get money coming. One delay after another happened which then resulted in significant supply chain delays. This resulted in losing the retail space secured. Months were passing without finding a new retail space. Debt was rising and rising. Just when I would think I had found a space, something would happen and it would fall through. One space had settlement issues. One space had a tenant with exclusive rights to pain management. Again and again the prospective spaces fell through. I kept going.
I overcame what seemed to be insurmountable challenges. Why? Because when you have a dream, when you have the flames burning inside, when you have your divine path in front of you, it does not matter what the challenges are. You take the risks and you do whatever it takes. If you are a business owner, it is not if you can it is I will find a way.
One challenge after another, like all business owners, I stepped up to the challenge. I overcame the challenged….because this is what I am meant to do. I help people look and feel great and I love it.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
It is not easy to unlearn something that you believe, that you have been taught all your life, that most people believe.
Many may not like what I now believe.
For decades I had an underlying health condition that our healthcare system could not figure out. I say many doctors. I had many procedures, but no luck. I lived with increasing fatigue, body pain, inflammation, increasing food sensitivities, I had year round seasonal allergies stomach issues, and more that I promise you do not want to hear about, lol.
But it was a gift.
I was determined to find great health. I was relentless.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
My plan was always to work in the corporate world. My father owned his own business and was always working. He seemed to work every day, early and late. I knew I did not want to own my own business.
After 30 years in corporate my stress level was high and sitting for decades had taken its toll.
The answer? leave corporate and take my life back – Reduce stress, take care of me.
