We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful KIMBERLEY MOORE. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with KIMBERLEY below.
Alright, KIMBERLEY thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Wow this is a powerful in-depth question, what did my parents do right. Let’s start with creating and raising me. My mother was a strong loving woman, she was afraid of her two daughters making the same mistake she felt she made by getting pregnant in her teens.
My mother was tough on me, but I was a hard cookie to crack. My mother didn’t realize I was taking notes and paying attention to everything she did and spoke. My mother taught me the role of a woman in a relationship with a good man, she taught me to love myself and not to allow no one to stop my growth.
My mother taught me empathy and patience, she taught me to never envy or be jealous of what anyone has. I am to encourage, praise and support people. My mother taught me to love those I meet on my journey in life, and it cost nothing to be kind and smile.
Most importantly, she taught me there’s nothing I cannot do and accomplish, to always be humble and keep God in my life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
A little about me, where do I start, I was born in the South Bronx in New York, you know what they say about NY, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. My parents brought a home in the Northeast Bronx and that is where I was raised. I had a phenomenal upbringing; our family gatherings were full of laughter and love. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. We all are very close. If you mess with 1 of us, you will have to deal with the entire team!
My mother instilled value, accountability, empathy, and respect in each one of her children and that created the individual I am today. I often reflect on my life and the things I have encountered. I have been through some horrible situations, and I never realized how strong I was until I had to plan my mother’s home going.
One day my cousin Pudding was sharing with me some of the things my mother told her about me. My cousin Pudding stated, mommy told her that I was the strongest woman she has ever known; I was shocked and surprised my mother had observed that characteristic in me.
Caring for and helping individuals in need has always been my purpose in life. God has a funny way of showing you what he has designed for you to do. I have accepted that I am a servant for the people, it’s a rewarding feeling to observe individuals reach their goals successfully and believe in themselves. I have 2 amazing loving sons; they are a reflection of me. Their father is a good man and a great father to them. I am surrounded by phenomenal friends and business partners; I am truly Bless and I love my life.

Any advice for managing a team?
Lead by example, always stand in your truth. Understand there is no I, everyone must work as a unit. Encourage your team, support, speak knowledge and empowerment. Meet individuals where they are and always remember your team and clients are looking towards you for guidance and wisdom.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Caring, listening, reflecting on their situation, and most importantly respecting the client. Making sure the client feels they are important, safe and knows they are in the right place for assistance. Always be understanding, never be biased, leave your personal beliefs at the door, and always remember it’s not about you, it’s about the client.
