We were lucky to catch up with Khadine Schultz recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Khadine, thanks for joining us today. Finding those key vendors can often be make or break for a brand. Can you talk to us about how you found your key vendors?

This is an exhaustive process, it may take years until you have your own reliable list of vendors. If I can give a tip is always get some references and to check their license.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

Growing up I had a deep affinity for the arts. I took countless drawing and painting classes throughout grade school. Upon graduating high school, I pursued degrees in Fashion Design and Architecture, and interned as an Architect at a prominent local firm in Brazil. Later I moved to Miami, Florida to work at another esteemed firm for several years before establishing my own interior design business. I specialized in putting a professional touch on my clients’ vision and needs, designing or redesigning the spaces into a more functional, layering styles, textures, and colors. I oversees all the aspect of the projects, from ground-up, renovation to styling, to ensure they will be done as planned. My projects are meant to be lived in for years to come, with timeless character and custom elements that tie the space to its owners.

Okay – If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later? 

I believe that the right place is here and now.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Consistency and reliability are good traits to have in business, and both affect a reputation. Continuously meeting deadlines, producing valuable work and doing well in performance reviews help improve your status and reputation. Word of mouth is the most effective form of marketing.
