Kerry thekyleblue , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
Accident in college where I presented a project as a Poem in front of class. Then I started going to open mics to further develop my craft.

Dynamic storyteller thekyleblue redefines the word abstract. His stage show pushes the limits of comedy, theatre, poetry, and hip hop. Finding voice on the scene during college, thekyleblue dared to get on stage at Open Mics in the City of Houston during the summer of 2004 and embarked on unique branding of Shock and Awe. Quiet and reserved by nature thekyleblue turns his silent observations of everyday life into exciting scenes of amusement and wonder. When asked how he manages to transforms ordinary scenarios into elaborate stage performances, he replied, “I developed nerves of steel…it’s all in the execution and I pull it off every time”. A regular at open mics and poetry shows thekyleblue delivers his unorthodox brand of entertainment with his “Banned From Stage” shows across the city of Houston since 2012. Astonishing crowds and shattering taboos thekyleblue proves abstract is more than an expression or a word, it’s a way of life. He believes inspiration is all around us and demonstrates effectively.
He developed as a hidden gem from City of Houston as he is beloved and cheered for as the Underdog from the Underground. Daring to become the Alternative to the Alternative occupying a land of obscurity as an Artistic Scavenger. Doing what he believes is the dirty work. Specializing in humor and balancing dramatics providing a breath of fresh air to the landscape. Moving forward with a series of One Man Shows with selective themes bringing forth the goal to challenge self and engaging others through dynamic storytelling..

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to create stories that are relatable to the casual person and provide lessons and insights. To have teachable moments.
