We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kayglizzy Kayglizzy. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kayglizzy below.
Kayglizzy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I learned to rap by having a love for poetry and then fell in love with rap. Staying consistent helped me become better.. with consistency and time I now dont have to write I can go in the booth and freestyle and create organically.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is KayGlizzy I’m a North Philadelphia born and raised female artist. I been making music since 14/15 years old. I was playing around with it at first & not really taking it serious because it was always something fun to do for me. Then my sister / manager talked me into becoming a full time rapper & taking it serious & transition from a rapper into a artist. I shot my first music video in 2021 and from there it was up. My fanbase love my rawness & realness. Im so girly & pretty & then when you hear my raps its like girl this you?! 2 opposites. My fans also know my story which sets me apart & makes my music more relatable because its real. Im most proud of my impact I’ve been having on people. Everybody in my city love Glizzy Gang and wanna be apart of my movement. I want my fans to know hardwork do pay off and thank you all for the genuine support!

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a artist is the impact you have on people. Everyday I feel loved. I love being a leader. All my life I knew I was a leader and always had that quality about myself.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I feel like being a new upcoming popping female artist you always have to pivot in different ways. Men in the industry will try you, other female rappers will hate you & try to beef with you because your competition, if your independent and paying everything out of pocket you have to budget.. this craft is not cheap. Its so many different challenges but I always figure it out.
