We recently connected with Karolina Rzadkowolska and have shared our conversation below.
Karolina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Picture this: It’s Monday morning. My head hurts. I’m nursing a hangover after drinking over the weekend. I drink every weekend because I’m bored. It seems like the most fun thing to do but it’s really not.
My coworkers strike up a conversation about travel—about all the amazing places I don’t have the vacation time or money to see.
And while my career isn’t that bad, I feel like I have so much more to offer the world than the repetitive work I do.
I see people on the internet living BIG, creative lives. I see people writing books and becoming entrepreneurs. I see their messages reaching thousands and thousands of people, and I see them bringing home more than enough money. Enough to spend. To travel. To work whenever they want. To work wherever they want.
And I just have no idea what to do.
*
Every Monday morning went like this for years. I was so stuck.
But everything changed when I started taking risks.
I stopped playing small. I stopped questioning my self-worth. I stopped asking IF I could do things and asked HOW to do them instead.
I ditched alcohol. I quit my job. I launched my business as an alcohol-free life coach and author.
The pieces of my life started to fall together. And then some.
I wrote my book. It’s in bookstores and sold around the world. I’ve been featured in PopSugar, The Huffington Post, Real Simple, and Elite Daily.
I’m closer to my partner. My success gave him the freedom to quit his 9-5 job, too. Now we travel the world together. We’re living in Europe this summer.
I’ve interviewed my heroes, spoken on stages, appeared on TV, and I’ve helped dozens of women overcome their mental blocks and discover their deeper purpose.
My life feels like a dream, like a genie in a bottle made all my wishes come true.
But that’s not what happened.
I pulled the strings. I orchestrated the life of my dreams. I granted my own wishes. I did it by refusing to play small. By taking risks. I learned life rewards risk-takers, and I’m using that lesson to empower and lift up other women.
Karolina, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Karolina Rzadkowolska, and I’m an author and certified alcohol-free life coach. Years ago, I took a break from alcohol and I never looked back. It was one of the most overwhelmingly positive and life-affirming decisions I ever made. It changed my life. That’s when I knew I found my calling.
Now I work with women one-on-one and in small, intimate groups to help them change their relationship with alcohol for good, value their worth, and discover their greater purpose. My book, Euphoric, Ditch Alcohol and Gain a Happier, More Confident You, introduces reader to an easy-to-customize 8-week plan to free them from the allure of alcohol.
Compassionate support is available through my group coaching programs, Become Euphoric, Dry Bootcamp, and Become Emboldened. These programs walk strong, intuitive women through every stage of their alcohol-free journey. For even more support, women can enroll in my one-on-one alcohol-free coaching or one-on-one business coaching to grow and find greater fulfillment in their careers. People who sign up for my courses receive exclusive bonuses, including free journal prompts and templates, a recipe book of over 50 delicious mocktails, and three free Masterclasses, How to Attract Wealth, How to Launch a Business, and How to Write a Book.
Those interested in learning more about alcohol-free living and achieving their biggest dreams can also listen to my podcast, Euphoric the Podcast, where I explore topics like how to deal with your partner when you take a break from alcohol, secrets my clients use to ditch alcohol, self-compassion, somatic bodywork, conquering anxiety, and so much more.
You don’t have to be addicted to alcohol to benefit from my book or programs. My programs are for anyone who is curious about taking a break from alcohol and anyone who feels the intuitive pull that alcohol is not serving them. I truly believe ditching alcohol is the key to unlocking our full potential. I teach my clients to embrace an alcohol-free lifestyle and achieve their bigger dreams.
The most remarkable thing I continue to learn in my line of work is that it’s not about the alcohol. It was never about the alcohol. It’s about feeling unfulfilled. It’s about low self-worth. It’s about not knowing our deeper purpose. I help intuitive people answer big life questions, fill in these gaps, and give them to the tools to go after their dreams. The most important takeaway from my program is that anyone can change their life and do great things if they take it baby step by baby step.
Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
If I could go back, I would not change the life events that led me to where I am today.
My old job taught me that I yearned for something more. My old schedule taught me that time is precious and fleeting. I learned to carve out time to travel, be fully present with loved ones, and make life truly meaningful. Old relationships taught me to keep looking until I found someone who knew my true value. I found that person when I met my husband. Years ago, my complicated relationship with alcohol taught me to ditch the things that make me feel small.
Today, I’m living my dreams. I’m an author, I travel the world, and I use my biggest life lessons to help my clients unlock their full potential and manifest their most ambitious goals.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
One of my greatest resources as I fully embraced my new alcohol-free lifestyle and launched my business as a certified alcohol-free life coach was the wisdom of Tony Robbins. Tony Robbins is a business strategist, speaker, and author. I’ve read his books, listened to his podcast, attended his virtual and live events, and even worked with a Tony Robbins coach for a long time.
Alcohol made me feel small. Ditching alcohol and learning from Tony Robbins did the opposite. It helped me build up my high self-worth. It helped me get in the confident and expansive mindset I use to lead others. When I learned that my insecurities and fears stemmed from our basic human needs and survival instincts, it was easier to overcome them. I learned to ask for help and find the right mentor. I learned that creating, big beautiful energy in the morning leads to more productivity and creativity throughout the day. I learned that I’m powerful and capable.
