Joshua , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I first knew I wanted to pursue this path when I was in high-school. My senior year drama instructor was really encouraging, before that I didn’t even know a career in the arts was an option.

Joshua , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

As, I said my high-school drama teacher was very encouraging. She helped me get a theater scholarship. I love stage acting but I was told during a theater competition that stage acting may not be the best way to showcase my talents and from there I went on to study film. Film has given me the creative flexibility to develop my own stories to tell. It has allowed me to work with some really creative and driven people to help create a brand that is recognized in the independent horror film marketplace.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

I have been lucky enough to be a part of a couple of really successful film projects. This has allowed me to build enough of a following to make some appearances at horror based conventions. Meeting fans and making new friends at these conventions is probably one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do. There is nothing better than putting a smile on someone’s face.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My main goal goes back to putting a smile on people’s faces. Growing up the horror movies my friends and I watched while hanging out meant so much to us. I just want to be able to do that too. Entertain and encourage thought and discussion.
