Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to John Cureton . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, John thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
My parents worked hard to raise someone that understands the value of work and following your dreams. I’ve always had support from both of my parents, regardless of the venture. Their leadership has given me the opportunity to fulfill my wildest dreams.
John , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started in the commercial cannabis industry in 2002 in California. I moved there to pursue acting, but realized that the commercial cannabis industry was taking off and I wanted in. That led me down the cannabis path to where I am now, with us being an 8x award-winning, luxury organic edible company which serves as Tennessee’s largest. We provide a cannabis experience through education, transparency and quality. We offer a variety of services through white-labeling, B2B Wholesale, Event Catering and more! We even offer consulting to customers who are trying to build their own brand.
We solve a variety of problems for customers, especially surrounding transparency and consistency. I am most proud of the hard work our entire team has put in to get us where we are, every award we have also includes them. Our brand focuses on quality over quantity and are committed to providing a truly, one-of-a-kind experience.
You can find out more online or at our store in Columbia!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I founded Colorado Springs first cannabis boutique and that business did as good as allowed. I think coming back from that and starting Burning Acre has proven to me that you must stay focused and committed.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes and I wouldn’t look back.
