We were lucky to catch up with Joey Zarrillo recently and have shared our conversation below.
Joey, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, one thing many business owners consider is donating a percentage of revenue or profits to an organization or cause. We’d love to hear your thoughts and the story behind how and why you chose the cause or organization you donate to.
I donate a portion of the proceeds on my client’s behalf to the charity of their choice. I don’t limit them to one charity. I let them pick the one they are passionate about, so it means more.

When it comes to supporting my clients, my only goal in meeting their objectives is to provide excellent customer service throughout all phases of the real estate process. While real estate is a passion, my family comes first. I have a wonderful wife, two remarkable daughters, and a rescue dog named Mukka. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family outdoors … walking and exploring new places on vacations.
My wife and I were high school sweethearts, and, after serving in the U.S. Navy, we returned to Eastern Jackson County to raise our family. We grew up in this area and are very familiar with the K.C. Metro. We know it’s a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We believe in being active in our community, and a career in real estate is a great way to do so while helping others.
