We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jessica Quinn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jessica below.
Alright, Jessica thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
As a young girl my parents didn’t let me go far off with others. In my adult years I feel as though that taught me how to distinguish the type of company I would like to keep close by. When I’m alone i feel as though a lot of my creativity comes to surface. No distractions lead to an abundance of success. I’m able to write more and clearer for my audience.
Jessica, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a 39 year old aspiring poet. As well as a Mother of two, I am also a small business owner who operates from online. I specialize in the sales of family clothing and a variety of products in retail. My business is fairly new so I cannot wait until I am able to get more sales. I had to be very disciplined when making this move in my life. I had to learn how to limit my social media usage so that I can learn the basics of running a small business.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
My customers are able to reach me directly through email. I also furnish them with my direct telephone number. I have to make sure that my customers know they’re able to contact me whenever within the 24 hours of the day.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn was believing a person passing away is a loss. All my life I called death a loss until I learned the real meaning of death after losing my mother and brother. The loss isn’t a loss, it’s alignment. My business was started in their memories.. my mother and brother were my number one supporters so when they passed it was traumatic but it fueled what I needed it to in order to continue doing what they wanted me to do and that was starting my own business.
