We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeremy Scott. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeremy below.
Jeremy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I started my career as a certified personal trainer in 2006 with 24 Hour fitness. I started helping people transform their lives and make lifestyle changes. I saw how much of an impact I was able to make in others lives and started falling in love with the process. This was very rewarding to me. My passion for fitness started to grow and grow. In 2020 everything took an unexpected turn. The pandemic started and all the gyms shut down at a fast rate. I never saw this coming and wasn’t prepared for this. I wasn’t sure what to do next . There was a lot fo uncertainty and unanswered questions I had on my mind. I always knew that one of my long term goals was to eventually have my own personal training business and work for myself. There was alway a certain amount of fear that would hold me back from taking that jump. Once the gyms shut down I was put into a situation where I didn’t have any other options but to take a risk . It was time to take that jump. This all came sooner than expected.
This was a blessing in disguise. I started my own training business which is known as Quik Fitt personal training and online coaching. I started step by step figuring out everything as I go. I wasn’t ready , but are we ever ? All I can say is that I wish I would have taken this step a lot sooner. Since then my business has grown at a fast rate, and I’ve also started with online coaching as well. With online coaching I can help people change their habits and change their lives all over the world, in different countries and different states with online workout plans and nutrition coaching inside my fitness app.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Jeremy Scott a.k.a “The Machine” I got the nick name on stage after winning the 2021 NPC Men’s physique bodybuilding competition. I got into fitness at the age of 15. I grew up watching super heroes, Bruce Lee and Jean Claude Van Damme. These are the people who inspired me and I wanted a lean muscular body like them. I started working out doing push ups and pull ups and thats where it all began. When I turned 17 I saw a big difference in my physique and decided to step on stage and enter my first bodybuilding competition, where I won first place and Overall. I knew at that point fitness was my calling. After seeing what a difference fitness and self discipline was making in my life, I thought to myself, if I could help others feel what I’m feeling then that would be amazing. The best way to do that was to become a personal trainer and teach others what I have learned and spread the good news. I turned 18 and got certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I started helping others change their lives and change their habits . This gave me a lot of satisfaction so I decided to make a lifelong career out of it. I truly care about each and every one of my clients as individuals. I get to know them and develop a good bond with them. Everyone is unique and different , so I can really find solutions and help them transform their body and mind.
I currently am focused on developing and growing my online coaching business. I have a fitness app that has so many features to help my clients get the most results and transform. My app comes with a customized nutrition plan, customized workout plan and I schedule live coaching calls with my clients for accountability to make sure they are getting the most results. The app comes with full detailed video instructions on how to properly perform the exercises. I do nutrition coaching though this app as well to help teach my clients how to eat the right foods and really make the proper lifestyle changes needed.
I believe in a holistic approach to fitness. If you really want true change and to get healthier then you have to change the habits, and change the mind as well. It all begins with your thoughts and your mind set . This has to be worked on and exercised daily. You can exercise your body, but the mind has to be exercised as well because this is the most important muscle we have .

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Resilience is so important when it comes to life, achieving success and reaching your goals. In life when we have something we want to do , even if we have a solid plan, we always have to prepare for the unexpected. We have a plan, then we choose what path wer’e going to take to get there. Along the way, we are guaranteed to have set backs, road blocks and obstacles. Its not what happens to us that hurts us but it’s how we respond to what happens to us that hurts us. 10 years ago I was working out as a competitive bodybuilder and during bench press I ruptured my pec tendon. I was lowering the weight and I heard and felt a loud tearing noise. The pain was excruciating. I knew at that moment that I was facing a huge setback in my future. I was out for half of a year and needed surgery. My tendon completely detached from the bone and I was out of the gym. My right pec, arm and shoulder deteriorated down to a bony arm. I got extremely weak and had to go through months of physical therapy just wondering if I would ever return to normal and have functional use of my right arm again. I had no choice but to maintain a positive attitude, and keep my thoughts positive. I had hope and kept telling myself that this is temporary and that all things in life are temporary and I’ll be back to normal soon. I had to take it one day at a time, learn patience and gratitude. Instead of focusing on everything that was negative and wrong I had to focus on everything positive around me. Focusing on the negative wasn’t going to change the situation or speed up recovery. This is something easier said than done , but it’s possible . With this mindset I was able to get through this and today Im strong and healthy with full function and symmetry back in my shoulders and arms from left to right.
