We recently connected with Jenica Martin and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenica , thanks for joining us today. Have you ever seen (or implemented) a really awesome way to show a client you appreciate them
I truly credit a large part of my success to my relationship with my clients. I am very adamant about letting my clients or potential clients know that I am their realtor for life. I pride myself on educating my clients and letting them know that I’ve got their back during the whole buy or sell process. Most of my marketing calendar is based on events and seasonal gift drops for my past clients and current, to let them know I appreciate them and that my success is largely because they have trusted me with this process and journey! These gestures serve as a heartfelt reminder that I genuinely recognize that my accomplishments are a direct result of their faith in my abilities.
After every close I have ever had, after all paperwork is signed and done; and keys are handed, I gift my clients a closing gift. Through the intimate process of looking for a home or a potential buyer for their home, we develop a rapport where we really get to know each other. I pay attention to their likes and dislikes and try to make sure my closing gift to them reflects that I care about their real estate needs of course, but also that I care about them in general as a client and as people.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a Realtor with Douglas Elliman in San Diego, and I strive to provide my clients with unmatched customer service. I have a passion for developing relationships with my clients, as well as cultivating trust with my clients so that they will be clients for life. My focus has been on establishing myself as a dedicated, honest, and ambitious realtor. My objective is to provide clients with a one-stop resource for everything under the real estate umbrella; community, lifestyle, and all things Real Estate and San Diego. I work with both buyers and sellers and guide them through the complexities of the real estate process. I truly feel I excel at working with sellers who need to sell and buy a home at the same time, first-time home buyers, relocation clients, and VA military clients. I am a native of Walnut Creek in San Francisco’s East Bay area and came to San Diego for college. I graduated from California State University San Marcos, and hold a Bachelor’s in Communications. Before becoming a realtor, I was a certified National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer. I am now a member of the National Association of Realtors.
My favorite activities include yoga, weight training, hiking, boxing, and muay thai. Spending time with my two nieces is one of my favorite things to do. A passionate animal lover, I especially enjoy spending time with my cat and dog. I enjoy taking my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Lumana, to Fiesta Island, Coronado Dog Beach, and Grape Street Dog Park. A Foodie and oenophile, I love visiting wineries and restaurants in San Diego.
