We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeff”Riot” Wyatt. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeff”Riot” below.
Hi Jeff”Riot”, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
in 2018 I competed in my 1st cross country Motorcycle race. We were encouraged to ride for a charity. I rode for a boy in NJ who had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy or simply DMD. This is a muscle wasting disease that remains 100% fatal. It tore at my heart to see a 9 year old kid struggle with this disease. From that day I had an overwhelming desire to help him and others. It hit me at my core when a kid couldn’t even play T-ball.
I thought if I started a Nonprofit that I could build something that could help more kids like this. No one had gathered a group of Bikers together to raise money for someone that had no connection to anyone involved. Lots of people had doubts and didnt think it was sustainable. My gut said otherwise so in 2021 I made the move and started Mile Monsters Inc.
I was passionate and soon found others who shared that passion.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a big ol biker covered in Tattoos who some find intimidating. I don’t look like the typical operator of a nonprofit that helps kids. I ride a Harley all over the country, I have a mohawk and I will risk life and limb to help these kids.
Together with other Monsters we do all things Epic. We are known for doing crazy rides that people don’t think are possible.
We prove that all things are possible and we give our heroes hope. I went from Coney Island NY to the Golden Gate Bridge in CA in 46 hours. I did a 10,000 mile ride from Key West Florida to Home Alaska in 9 days on country roads. We Do Epic! That’s what put us on the map.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Mile Monsters Inc. has built a reputation within the Motorcycle community as ones that will do whatever is needed to help our kids. That reputation comes from years of helping kids and providing them with MOMENTS! We showcase these kids to our supporters and that allows our fundraisers and our donors to feel like they are a part of these kids lives.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
We tell our Kids that despite having a terminal disease they can never, ever give up. To always hold onto hope. In 2022 while competing in a cross country race I crashed on a lonely road in the high desert of Idaho. At 80 MPH I hit the pavement and slid 200 feet on the asphalt before tumbling 115 feet through a rocky ditch. I was airlifted to a trauma center and patched up. Later that day I left the Hospital and went back to my totaled Motorcycle. Together with a few friends we patched it together and I continued on with the final 2,500 miles of the 10,000 mile competition. As the leader of Mile Monsters Inc. I could not quit! I had to make the finish line because we had our kids there waiting and there was no way I was going to quit. Not in front of them.
I spent a year in rehab and still need one surgery from that day. Our kids fight every day and I had to do whatever it took.
