We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jediah Greene. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jediah below.
Jediah, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I’ve always loved watching movies with my family from a young age and it brought sentimental value and long lasting memories. The first couple of movies that I remember watching as a child was timeless classics like The Little Mermaid, The Jungle book, and The Wizard of Oz. I was able to understand storytelling and character development. When I was seven years old, I took a drama class at the school I attended. I was inspired and fell in love with acting, the teaching styles, the process of making movies, and what it means to be an actor. From that year on I knew I wanted to be an actor to inspire other people by telling life changing stories and to pursue their dreams goals and passions.

Jediah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Jediah Greene and I’m an actress, filmmaker, writer, podcast host, model, and influencer. I’ve been taking drama classes since the age of seven, and I now have an Associates Degree in Acting from The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. I went on auditions consistently studied different acting techniques, networked with other artists at events, did background roles in films like Netflix’s Rustin and I have been in plays in the DMV and Baltimore like Terminal Lucidity. While building my portfolio and having a supportive family, I was able to land my first lead role in the movie titled A Mother’s Daughter as Christina at the age of twenty three. After filming my first movie, my plans of starting my own podcast titled JeyTV came to be. The first episode was dedicated to Women’s History Month, which was an amazing kickstart being able to highlight women who are artists and giving honor to my mother as well. The following episode I interviewed two of my friends who are also actresses highlighting their talents and accomplishments. While creating the theme of inspiring our viewers of their journey in the industry and encouraging others to pursue their passions and goals as well. The the vision for the podcast is to highlight different artists, business owners, influencers online and in the communities. By giving them their flowers as they tell their amazing stories of how they got started in their profession. Along with new ideas and creative additions, topics, and guests for future episodes. It does take a lot of focus, drive, ambition and dedication to continue to pursue my goals. Timing, motivation, confidence, staying humble, and consistency is everything. Always reminding yourself that you are important, you were born to do this, and of why you are doing what your doing is very important. Because if your heart and mind isn’t connected to your goals and passion and if you don’t have a reason behind what you want to do it won’t leave an impact, you’ll feel lost and loose the drive to continue doing it. Finding the right agent and acting roles isn’t always easy. But using platforms like Backstage, Actors, Access, or networking with casting directors on social media networks does help in finding more acting roles. In the process of finding more roles, planning other ways to create opportunities for myself, other actors, and influencers is a goal of mine in the year of 2026. I have been writing since the age of fifteen, I started off with monologues to use in auditions, to writing ideas for plays, and films. Especially in today’s time where technology and people using social media as an outlet to grow community and gain an audience there are more opportunities to meet people and create content. What I feel like sets me apart from others is my drive, intelligence, bubbly personality, positive optimistic perspective of life, and my openness with connecting and bringing people together to achieve a higher level of success. I am proud of the woman I am today, and the bright future ahead. With making so much progress each year, with striving for nothing less than the best, being as consistent as possible, not giving up no matter what life throws my way I overcame every single challenge and continued to grow and love the process. Consistency and unity is key.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Inspiring people by giving them hope that anything is possible, evoking emotion by tending to the human condition, being able to tell stories that people can relate to or that keeps them at the edge of their seat that makes them intrigued for wanting to learn more, making them laugh, cry, tears of joy, and continuing to talk about the legacy that the art has created leaves a monuments impact that can last for generations. Knowing that you have touched someone’s life without even knowing them personally from watching the things that you create or even from them hearing your story is very rewarding.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think that non-creatives will struggle to understand that everything is a work in progress. That at the end of the day, we are all human, that creatives go through trial and error all the time as well and that it takes time to get that big break and continue to stay consistent. Even when it seems like you have reached your highest potential. Some actors have to take on other jobs to maintain their careers as a source of income and become working actors with acting not being there full-time source of income. So they can afford the head shots, to travel, marketing, agents, union fees, to create projects, and opportunities for themselves and others. Especially when it comes to immersing yourself in the roles that we take on creatives have to be emotionally invested and have the mindset to keep going and to create meaningful art that people can relate to, and that connects with themselves as artist.
