Jasmine, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
The Lord gave me the name. I was thinking about my husband and just how meek and humble he is. He is a all around amazing guy. He is so chill and peaceful. He has been this way from when I first meet him till this day. He never changed like some in marriages tend to do. That is where the Humble came from. The Waters is our family name so I added that behind Humble to spice it up!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I got in this industry to provide affordable everyday things for people to feel good about themselves when they wear them. I also have a podcast as well where I love to uplift my Sisters and keep them on a positive frame of mind. I love people and I love for people to be happy and be at their purest form of peace. So, adding the clothing and jewelry part was a plus for me. I like to know what my Sisters in Christ wear and like so that I can look into finding more unique things that I can sell to them for affordable prices. I am so grateful to have my loyal clients that order from me whenever a new unique item comes in to purchase.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I know that a positive attitude goes a long way! I know that marketing is always a super plus, but the way you speak to people and treat them is what keeps you with a positive reputation. I know that has helped me build up my clientele. Also, from having a respectful and positive relationship with my clients: they bring over other clients due to word of mind.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source for my clientele is from my clients that I already have! It’s nothing but the Lord! He gives me the increase. I know that if I depend on him and him only, and apply hard-work I will always have clients. I think that a good source for us small businesses just starting out is the Meta-Verse platform. You can make a post and it is linked to all your other accounts and BOOM! There are now thousands of people looking at your site. You will get a lot of looks rather than buys at times, but when you keep working on your business and trying you will get the audience that is meant for you.
