JaiNishia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Showing my customers love and appreciation is truly at the heart of everything I do. I believe that when someone chooses to support your brand, they’re not just buying a product they’re investing in your vision and trusting you with their time and money. Because of that, I try to be very intentional about how I show gratitude.
I do this by creating thoughtful, high-quality products, communicating openly with my community, and making sure customers feel seen and valued. That can look like personal touches in packaging, engaging with them online, listening to their feedback, and continuing to improve the experience based on what they share.
For me, appreciation also means consistency showing up, maintaining integrity, and making sure every interaction with the brand feels warm, welcoming, and meaningful. When customers feel that genuine care, it builds a relationship that goes far beyond a single purchase.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
One of the ways I keep my clients engaged and excited about the brand is by creating moments of surprise and appreciation throughout their experience. I love doing things like secret launches, where loyal customers get early or unexpected access to new products. It makes the experience feel a little more personal and special for the community that continues to support the brand.
I also include thoughtful touches like free gifts and handwritten thank-you cards with every order. That personal note is really important to me because it allows customers to know that their support is genuinely seen and appreciated. In a world where so many things are automated, taking the time to personally thank someone adds a meaningful human connection.
For me, it’s about building a relationship, not just making a sale. Those small gestures help create a sense of community around the brand, and they give customers a reason to keep coming back because they feel valued and part of something special.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One lesson I had to learn as a business owner is the importance of patience and trusting the process. When you’re passionate about your brand, you want everything to grow quickly and perfectly, but I’ve learned that meaningful growth takes time.
Building a business requires consistency, resilience, and the willingness to learn along the way. There are moments where things don’t go exactly as planned, but those experiences often become the greatest teachers. They help you refine your vision, strengthen your systems, and become a better leader for your brand.
That lesson has helped me approach my work with more intention and grace—understanding that every step, challenge, and win is part of building something lasting and impactful.
