We were lucky to catch up with Jacky Ramirez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jacky thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Taking a risk is always a scary feeling, sometimes life throws us curve balls and we have to just wing it. I decided to take a risk and venture on my own into the Oil & Gas industry. It has definitely been a roll a coaster but all worth it. From learning the terminology to learning the operations. My background has always been health, beauty and fitness. This was a huge challenge going from heels to steel toe boots.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am the founder of Donram Energy Solutions LLC. We buy and sell crude oil. There are different divisions within the oil and gas industry, from gas, to water to oil. The whole cycle of how the oil is produced and extracted from the ground to end of the cycle where its sold in different forms to different markets. Turning waste into reclaimable product and sold to different buyers is such an amazing duty. Donram is currently selling in the West TX, South TX and East TX region along with Mexico.
I am very proud of the transparency and honesty I offer to my customers and vendors. This industry can be very challenging due to the competition rate. But I do believe in my heart that when we work with integrity and honesty we will be running a successful business for years to come.
Fun Fact: The name Donram is an honor of my father Donato Ramirez, who passed away last year in September. He was always my biggest fan. He is our guardian angel. With his blessing I know Donram will be a successful abundant company.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social media can be the best way to grow your business. I utilize Snapchat, Facebook along with Instagram to share our process on reclamation of our oil as well as showing our facilities. I also post and market when we are looking for new vendors or if we have product for new buyers.
Social media is an awesome way to grow your audience.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source for new clients has been going to business expos. I’ve met incredible people by just sharing my business card and getting my face known in town.
