Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jacklynn Lomeli. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jacklynn , appreciate you joining us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later?
If I could go back in time, I most definitely would’ve taken the leap sooner. Fear always held me back, I’d think, what if I don’t make it, what if I didn’t make enough, what if my business didn’t continue to grow, but rather just die. The fear of proceeding in life to pursue what I loved the most, especially to be able to work for myself & make my own schedule. In the end, everything happened the way that it did to get to where I am at, but fear & insecurity definitely stopped the process. Now me, would tell old me, let it RIP! There’s only one way to find out.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
How I got into this line of work is a common question I always receive. Truth is, I love love, I love capturing moments for people and being able to freeze time. Time makes us grow older, life changes, people grow apart & even people leave this earth. I am able to freeze these moments you most love & value for you to keep forever. To be that person to do that for others, means the world to me. I treat my clients like family making me the most proud of how I make them feel, whether it being at a family session, self session or on their wedding day. I’m a firm believer that people won’t remember what you did, they’ll remember how you made them feel. I take great pride in being able to work with clients, and even their family members the day of their weddings, and leaving my imprint on their hearts when I leave by how much I interact with everyone, sing, dance & even help with bridal necessities! I’m not just there to work, I am here to become family & create memories with you, as I capture them for you!

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
This is definitely one of the biggest questions other small business owners have asked me, and the one and ONLY answer that I have for them is, CONSISTENCY! Consistency is key! Stay active in posting on social media, stay consistent in replying, interacting with followers on social media. Stay consistent & fast in responding to clients in your emails! People love being replied to fast, they want to see & know that they are important to you! ESPECIALLY if thats a potential client that is sitting there wanting to pay for your services!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I’ve definitely established a name for myself through posting my realist & truest self on a daily basis. I give people the true insight of my life! I’ve made everyone feel as if they know me, without meeting me. It’s always come natural to me to be able to speak my mind on social media, share with followers my life, my work & even share the best tips in business, life, even cooking! People know that if they book me, they are 100% receiving what they see & know of me already. I am me on social media, and in person.
