We recently connected with Jacey Herbert and have shared our conversation below.

Jacey, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.

In my Home Energetics offerings I go beyond the standard Feng Shui assessment and adjustments. I look at the human and the home holistically. I use a multitude of practices that are both spiritual and logical to create harmonized and balanced energy between you and your space. The goal is for you to feel connected, supported, and capable, energetically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Feng Shui is just one aspect of feeling comfortable and happy in the home. I use tools like manifestation, magic, herbalism, meditation, crystals, reiki energy, and many other practices to support the client in their Home Energetics journey.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I began my spiritual journey after years of trying too hard, questioning myself, my path, and my purpose. My awakening sparked change in all aspects of my life, but the most impactful has been a consistent meditation practice, finding support through home using Feng Shui, and a deep daily connection with my spirituality.

I discovered Feng Shui in a moment of clarity when I realized how the space around me had been draining my energy and causing stress instead of providing comfort. I was feeling behind in my career, my relationships, and overwhelmed with the fast paced lifestyle I was living, constantly chasing “the next thing.” After I started to understand the different energy centers of the home and how they impact every aspect of my life I was able to create a home filled with love, support, and abundance.

In conversations and sharing my learnings with those around me my inner light was ignited. I had friends, family members and coworkers coming to me for advice and help. I could tell people were looking for this support in their own lives and I was seeing the positive benefits and desired results play out time and time again. I decided to start sharing my unique methods of blending Feng Shui and spirituality in the form of Home Energetics with others. Feng Shui and energetics awareness in the home has transformed my life, and now I love to show others how it can transform theirs.

My intention behind Still Jacey is to help you find your own stillness in your mind, body, home environment, and connection to your deepest and truest self. My grounded methods support connection with self and home in a way that is transformative, empowering, and uplifting. Helping others become the best version of themselves is something I hold deep in my core, I come from a background in nursing (two nursing degrees) and approach Home Energetics with the mentality of holistic support. I look at all aspects of a person’s life and home and work collaboratively with them to optimize their truest and best potential.

The bottom line is, we are energetic beings; our emotions, moods, and thoughts are impacted by the energies surrounding us. Do you find yourself feeling uninspired, overwhelmed, burned out, or drained in your everyday life? Or maybe you feel great, but are looking for the energetic keys to up-level your life and propel yourself into your dream life? Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

I have grown my clientele primarily through referrals. It is easiest for me to promote my work when others can see and feel the impact it has on their own life. With each session I focus on providing the highest and most valuable experience to my customers. When a client completes a session they are glowing, excited, and inspired. There has been nothing more impactful for growing my clientele than the original influencer marketing of clients sharing their experiences with their own neighbors, friends, and family members. The energy of the session is shared with those they love and then others are asking for sessions.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I have built my following through multiple different social platforms. One of the very successful and unique platforms I’ve used is the Insight Timer Meditation App. I love using this app to introduce myself, my work, and to spread the word of my business because, through the nature of the app and what it is used for, users are already more inclined to be aware of and interested in the spiritual and energetic space.

For example, during the launch of Home Energetics I created a free workshop titled Home Energetics 101. I pitched and promoted it to my Instagram and email list and simultaneously offered another session of the workshop available only on Insight Timer. The workshop promoted on my Instagram and email list received 27 sign ups, while the Insight Timer workshop was SOLD OUT (100 spots) with a waitlist!

My advice for others trying to grow and build an audience on social media is to find a platform where you audience already exists. Yes, the traditional social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), have millions, if not billions, of users, but what percentage of those users have a genuine interest in what you have to offer? Does your niche have a platform that allows workshops, classes, or discussion boards? Is there a local club or organization within your area that has similar interests to what you provide? Pitch a free workshop or offer a freebie to this specific group, it might be smaller than the millions of people on Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/Youtube, but they are in that space because they are already interested in something related to what you have to offer. They are already more inclined to be interested in what you have to say and offer.
