We were lucky to catch up with Jac & Jess St. John’s BFF recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jac & Jess thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Jac and I both were trying to be to network and grow our businesses. She had recently moved here and wanted to meet more people and I am born and raised here and was trying busy with all the events. So I invited her to all of them and she said it was too much she wanted to do a lunch. She said “I’m a lady of lunch” and I responded well “I’m a lady of leftovers and my husband cooks for us.” So we decided to do one lunch and had about 16 ladies manly our friends. Then each month it grew after now we have about 70-80 women each month at our luncheons. We wanted a group of for women to feel like they belonged no matter if they were moms or what age. St. John’s BFF stands for Business, Faith and friendship. This is the heartbeat of our group and we give back 10% to our non profits. Supporting non- profits and being the light to our community is what drives us. We have over 100 preferred vendors that have linked arms with us. These are business that want to have that third party validation and want to be promoted within our group. The group is free to join. So it’s free to be a member but to be a preferred vendor you must go though an application process. There’s really no other group like this allows you to post your business on the group page anyday you wish and come to events without being a member. It’s a community for all women!

Jac & Jess, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We are most proud of how fast we have grown and that is because we allow God at the forefront and believe in abundant mindset. We know there’s enough business to go around and want to support women who are trying to support their families with their business. We have different types of events each month for all different needs for women looking to find friends, faith or help with their business.
How’d you meet your business partner?
Jac and I met about 6/7 yrs ago and she had just moved here with her four boys and husband. She was couching T-Ball and my son was on the team. So we met in passing and then started talking through social media.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Jac is an amazing business and life coach with 20yrs of experience helping other women organize their business model and getting them on track to be productive and successful. Jess is a jacksonville Fl native and with 13yrs of real estate experience has dominated the real estate market. Both of us have seen our businesses excel through our group by being intentional and present at our events and really pouring into our group and the wonderful ladies we have met along the way.
