We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Hans Rose. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Hans below.
Hans , appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
The first time I wanted to pursue and follow the artistic path was in high school. I was always surrounded by other artist and different cultures . I started out doing graffiti in the streets and cartoon drawings.
Being from South America I had plenty of culture that I can put out on canvas or walls. After high school I went straight to Art college to study Commercial Art, Photography, Fine Art, and Computer Graphics.
Hans , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
How I got into the world of art was making myself known for my style of art within the Native and Indigenous communities in South Florida. My mission is to show the general public that Indigenous Peoples are still thriving in the city or reservations. Putting a modern touch with pop art and traditional art. I purposely create my drawings and paintings to educate and inspire other Native Artist young and old to put out there heart and culture out to the public. My brand is called Indigenous Pop Art which I focus on modern day Native characters with pop culture.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My particular goal is to show that cultures are still alive through urban, pop, and traditional art.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding in Being an artist is that I enjoy being able to have the freedom of expressing my creations through color and story telling.
