We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Hana Zacapu. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Hana below.
Alright, Hana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
In my job, I learned the importance of giving my all in everything I do. Whether tackling a major project or handling a small daily task, I found that approaching each responsibility with dedication and effort not only improved my performance but also earned the trust and respect of my team. This mindset taught me that consistent commitment to excellence creates opportunities for growth and helps foster a positive and productive work environment.

Hana , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hi, I’m Hana, the founder of For the Girls Seattle! I started this brand because I’ve always loved bringing people together and creating special moments, especially for women. I wanted to build something that felt fresh, meaningful, and genuinely fun—a space where women could connect, celebrate, and enjoy unique experiences that align with their interests and lifestyles.
For the Girls is all about hosting curated events that feel thoughtful and unforgettable. From themed gatherings like “Pumpkin & Prosecco” and “Bubbles & Blooms” to wellness-focused mornings like “Sip and Stretch” yoga sessions, every event is designed to feel vibrant, creative, and fun. We also offer private event planning for things like birthdays or bachelorette parties, where we focus on making everything personal and special for our clients.
What makes For the Girls stand out is our attention to detail and the atmosphere we create. It’s about more than just a pretty setup (although aesthetics are so important!); it’s about fostering a vibe where women can connect, recharge, and leave with lasting memories. I’m also passionate about collaborating with brands that align with the experiences I want to share.
What I’m most proud of is the energy and excitement from the women who’ve attended our events so far. Hearing how much fun they’ve had or how they’ve made new connections reminds me why I started this journey in the first place. It’s all about creating those unforgettable moments that stick with you long after the event is over.
If you’re just learning about For the Girls, I want you to know that this is more than just an event business—it’s a community. Whether you’re joining one of our public events or working with me to plan a private celebration, I’m here to make sure every detail is perfect and that you walk away feeling celebrated, inspired, and connected.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Other than training and knowledge, what has truly helped me succeed in this field is the power of networking and the genuine care I put into making every guest at a For the Girls event feel seen and valued. Building meaningful connections with people and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed and appreciated has been instrumental in gaining their trust and growing our clientele. It’s those small, thoughtful touches and the personal connections that turn attendees into loyal supporters and advocates for the brand.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective way I’ve grown my clientele has been through social media. I spend a lot of time finding inspiration for events and creating thoughtful posts to attract like-minded women who are looking for the type of community I’m building. Word of mouth has also been a significant source of growth, which is why I prioritize treating every guest with care and curating experiences that make them want to come back—and share their experience with others. Ensuring every event feels special and welcoming is so important to me because it’s the foundation of both my business and the community I’m creating.
