Alright, Gita thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When you’ve been a professional in an industry for long enough, you’ll experience moments when the entire field takes a U-Turn, an instance where the consensus completely flips upside down or where the “best practices” completely change. If you’ve experienced such a U-Turn over the course of your professional career, we’d love to hear about it.

I started my career in the financial field working at a stressful job that I loved. Yes, I thought the best thing for me would be to retire in that very same profession. But as I found out many years later, the Universe had other plans for me. After a near death experience, I became aware of the existence of so many dimensions, it completely changed my mindset. The trip to the other side was a profound experience. I saw many loved ones, and friends and the whole atmosphere felt so peaceful and loving that I wanted to stay there. But I was told to return since it was not my time yet. On being asked what I would do back on Earth I was told that I was going to teach. As I had no expertise on any subject at the time, I asked what I could possibly teach. The response was that I would know when it was time.

After that, I experienced some paranormal events like the materialization of souls that had passed. My sense of intuition and dreaming became so powerful, I could no longer ignore it. After I recovered physically and emotionally, I started to deeply explore consciousness and the astral world. Subjects like astrology, tarot, dowsing, medium-ship and decoding dreams started to fascinate me. This was the moment when I made a U-Turn in my career. I was no longer interested in the job I thought would be forever. The next several years were spent in learning and absorbing as much as I could about the occult world. In the meantime I started teaching metaphysical subjects which then lead to authoring a few books on the subject.

Gita, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

A near death experience guided me to the spirit world and exposed me to the vast expanse of the astral realm. This experience also heightened my awareness and psychic/intuitive abilities. As an avid dreamer, my precognitive dreams were so profound that I realized this was indeed a very rare gift since very few people even remember their dreams, let alone have the ability to interpret them. My internationally published book “Dream Your Reality” won the COVR Gold Award for the best dream book for2024. This is a very proud accomplishment for me. My oracle deck “The Mahabharata Oracle” is the first unique deck on the subject which has now been copied by others. As a professional psychic medium, I strive to help people with their problems in life and guide them so they have an awareness of the right path.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?

One of the most important qualities to succeed in any venture besides training and knowledge is resilience and humility. Life has its ups and downs. Just like the tarot card, The Wheel of Fortune, there are moments when you may be at the top and moments when you may be at the bottom. By seeing challenges as temporary and workable, one can thrive even in tough conditions. There is always a lesson to be learnt with any experience. Life has a way of doing that. By maintaining a balanced state in stressful times, one can find the strength to continue instead of giving up. Setbacks then become opportunities for growth and learning.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Sincerity with clients has helped me grow my business. By being honest with my capacity and abilities, I have achieved respect and admiration from faithful clients who keep coming back.
