I first realized I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally during a significant moment of reflection in my life. It was during a challenging time when I felt a calling deep within me. I often turned to prayer and meditation, seeking guidance about my future. One evening, as I was journaling and reflecting on my passions, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and clarity.

It was then that I recognized my love for the arts wasn’t just a hobby; it was a God-given talent that I needed to pursue . I saw my creativity as a way to connect with others and share messages of hope and inspiration. With faith as my foundation, I felt compelled to step forward, believing that pursuing this path would not only fulfill my dreams but also allow me to use my gifts to make a positive impact in the world.

This realization marked the beginning of my journey, guided by faith, knowing that each step I take in my creative endeavors is part of a larger plan.

Frederick J. , a multi-talented-award winning national/international recording artist, musician and composer is an innovative and exceptionally creative individual. Frederick, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has developed a heart for music at very young age and soon after began to feel the very hand of God shape and mold his talent in many areas of music, instrumentally and vocally.
The singer Frederick J, has carved out an illustrious musical career highlighted by several profound pioneers in the music industry as a whole. He has shared the stage with many artist across the globe. he was been privileged to be cast for the musical “The Secret Garden” and was in the movie “The Temptations” Most recently had a lead role as “Gator” in “Memphis the musical” Frederick, has completed several musical tours in Europe and surrounding areas and has been featured on numerous radio stations and has appeared locally and nationally on television.
Recently Frederick J. has done impersonation shows that has sold out at venues such as the “City Winery” and has now been offered privilege to do his own show Live on stage in Las Vegas.
He has released singles titled “Never Runs Dry” ,”I Will Worship and “Help Me” that has received raved reviews. Frederick is beyond excited to be releasing a new single titled “Mighty God” that surely is going to be a church rocker around the Globe. With that his full project “Transitions ” which has high anticipation on being a great impact to all is forthcoming!

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the profound ability to touch lives both those I have met and those I have yet to meet. When people reach out to share how my music has been a blessing in their lives, it fills me with immense gratitude and joy. Knowing that my work resonates with others and has the power to uplift and inspire them is truly invaluable.

Whether it’s through heartfelt messages from fans expressing how a particular song helped them through a difficult time or stories of strangers connecting over shared experiences my music captures, these moments remind me of the purpose behind my art. I strive to create timeless music that transcends boundaries and creates lasting memories. It’s a beautiful reminder that art can change lives, and being part of that journey is the greatest gift of all.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

One important lesson I had to unlearn is that the support of others doesn’t define the worth of my work. Early in my journey, I often found myself placing high expectations on the people around me, hoping they would understand and champion my vision. When that support didn’t always come as expected, it became disheartening and led to disappointment.

However, through these experiences, I learned to focus on a deeper truth: I create music because my heart is in the right place and my intentions are pure and I hear clearly my assignment at hand for each song written. It’s essential to remember that my purpose goes beyond external validation; it’s rooted in a calling that I believe is aligned with a greater plan from God.

Standing firm in my purpose allows me to navigate through the doubts and criticisms of naysayers. I’ve come to understand that as long as I remain true to my mission and passionate about my craft, I can rise above those challenges. By embracing this perspective, I find strength and joy in creating music that touches lives, regardless of immediate support or recognition. In the end, it’s all about the impact of the art and staying true to the journey that I’ve been blessed to pursue.
