We were lucky to catch up with Frank A. Ruffolo recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Frank A. , thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
I started writing in my 60’s. I wished the voices in my head started earlier for now as I approach my 80’s There is so much more I can write with as I reach the end of my time to do so. I relish the fact that my experiences that lead me to where I am now were a perfect blend of life and God. Do I wish it happened sooner than later, of course. But it has fulfilled my life’s work to the fullest and I am happy for it. I would change nothing in my journey except I regret I did not start earlier with by passion of storytelling and my relationship with God the Father and the Archangels who are by my side helping me.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am 76 years old and married to my beautiful wife9 and editor, Christine for 49 years. We were both volunteers and a Virgin Mary Apparition site in Hollywood florid for over 20 years. There I was told My muse was Archangel Uriel who possesses the wisdom of God. Archangel Gabriel the messenger of God later joined him to be with me. It is then, as I describe it, the voices in my head lead me on the path as an internationally known published author, Investigative journalist, screen credited screenwriter, executive producer, Vice President of a 501(c)(3) corporation Florida Arts Network, and cohost of a talk show, The Artist’s Loft. There with my cohost Richar Sosa, President of the Florida Arts Network we interview guests involved in written, performing and visual arts. Our 501(c)(3) supports students and young artists of all venues with grants, scholarships and job opportunities. We provide video services for reel, trailers. and commercials. I currently have 13 books published thru my corporation FC Literary Publishing Inc. and I provide help new and inspiring authors in getting started and how to get published. I have given workshops and advise in doing so. I currently have 4 more manuscripts written in edit. I write in various fiction genres, murder mystery, action, faith-based sci fi. I have one Memoir released describing how I was inspired and have one written manuscript still in edit which is an historical fiction.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I always give a message in the subtext of my work. Family comes first and the struggle of good against evil. However, in my faith-based sci fi series: Gabriel’s Chalice, Tres Archangeles, Xanthe Terra, and Samael of Sarah I take the reader on a journey from the weeks leading up to judgement day to 1300 years later. as mankind, just like today struggles with faith in God and must constantly be shown God’s power over bad choices as the prince of evil influences the masses. This reaches the climax of God’s ultimate retribution against mankind’s folly. It is quite a prophetic journey for things an occurrences I have written about in the past have come or about to come true.
In my murder mysteries and action stories in is basically good against evil. But Good does not always win. There also in these pages I have written about instances that have become fact.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
It takes persistence and daily interaction to gain audience. If you are an author/writer, you must set up a presence promoting yourself on all media fronts. Set up a professional page for yourself, for your corporation and books or movies you have released. You must also set up your own website to promote yourself as well. DO NOT be a voice of any particular social or political ideology. You may be passionate in your beliefs, but you will alienate a large audience of rejection. It boggles my mind how many famous people has destroyed their fanbase by taking one side over another. Now, I am not saying to abandon your support for people or projects you deem worthy. But if you are a new artist you need to through caution to the wind.
