We recently connected with Eryn Gilson and have shared our conversation below.
Eryn, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
When I launched my business in 2018, the first priority was getting everything up and running quickly. I already had clients, so I decided to go with what I already had—my name. Eryn Gilson Consulting felt like a natural choice at the time, but as the business grew, I began to feel a pull to make a change.
As small business owners, our identities are often deeply intertwined with our work, and having my name in the business name amplified that for me. I wanted to create something that could stand on its own—independent of me or my name—so I could focus on building a brand that felt bigger and more sustainable.
Rebranding to Wildbloom Creative has been such an exciting step forward. This new name represents growth, creativity, and the wildflower spirit of the small businesses we help bloom. I’m so excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to see how Wildbloom Creative continues to grow.

Eryn, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Eryn Gilson, a mom, serial entrepreneur, and the founder of Wildbloom Creative, a marketing agency dedicated to helping small businesses thrive. Growing up in the small business world, I’ve always been surrounded by the creativity, grit, and determination it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur. Even as a young Girl Scout, I knew my future would be in entrepreneurship—I just wasn’t sure what path it would take.
That path led me here, to Wildbloom Creative. It all started when I began helping local businesses with their marketing strategies. I realized I had a passion for understanding the unique challenges of small businesses and turning their visions into strategies that work. Over time, what began as a personal venture transformed into a thriving agency focused on holistic, sustainable marketing solutions.
At Wildbloom Creative, we specialize in services like social media strategy, content creation, branding, and consulting. What sets us apart is our ability to craft tailored strategies that align with each client’s goals and values. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions—we believe in building authentic partnerships that make marketing more manageable and meaningful.
One of the things I’m most proud of is that my small business gets to help other small businesses bloom. It’s incredibly rewarding to support fellow entrepreneurs, helping them share their stories and grow in ways they never thought possible.
I want potential clients and followers to know that Wildbloom Creative is here to celebrate your wins, tackle your challenges, and make your vision a reality. At the heart of everything we do is a belief in creativity, authenticity, and the power of small businesses to create a big impact.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Our best source of new clients has always been rooted in relationships and networking. Wildbloom Creative thrives on genuine connections—meeting people, getting to know them, and building trust. Whether it’s through networking events, collaborations, or simply showing up in our community, we’ve found that the more we invest in relationships, the more opportunities come our way.
For us, it’s not just about marketing services; it’s about understanding each client’s unique vision and becoming their partner in growth. We love working with people who value collaboration and authenticity as much as we do.
By being out in the community, forming connections, and showing what Wildbloom Creative is all about, we’ve built a network that continues to grow organically. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how those relationships turn into opportunities to help small businesses bloom.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
My biggest advice for managing a team and maintaining high morale is to invest in yourself as a leader. Leadership isn’t just about delegating tasks—it’s about constantly learning, growing, and evolving so you can show up as the best version of yourself for your team. That means taking the time to engage in trainings, programs, and books that help you develop your skills and broaden your perspective.
The more you invest in your own growth, the better you’ll understand your team and what they need to thrive. Listening is key—take the time to hear their ideas, concerns, and feedback, and lead with empathy. In small businesses especially, people are the heart of what we do. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about creating an environment where your team feels valued, supported, and genuinely enjoys their work.
When you prioritize your team’s happiness and invest in their success alongside your own, you build a foundation of trust and collaboration that makes all the difference. A team that feels heard and empowered is a team you can count on, and that’s essential for any small business to grow and succeed.
