Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ellie Doyle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Ellie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Reheated Coffee Club started in my kitchen in Florida, holding one of my babies, with a cup of coffee that had already gone cold. We had just toured schools in Connecticut, and I found myself constantly comparing the two places—education, pace of life, community, what we wanted for our kids. I started sharing those thoughts online, not as an expert, but as a mom trying to make sense of a big potential change while deep in the everyday chaos of motherhood.
At the time, it wasn’t a business idea at all. It was a way to process a huge life decision in real time. I was navigating motherhood, raising young kids, and questioning what “home” was supposed to look like for our family. The response was immediate and unexpected—other parents related deeply. People in Florida who were feeling stuck, people considering a move, and people already in Connecticut started engaging, asking questions, and sharing their own experiences.
The logic behind turning it into something more came when I realized I was filling a gap. There wasn’t a lot of honest, nuanced content about relocation, parenting, and community that wasn’t either overly curated or purely transactional. I wasn’t just comparing states—I was telling the story of everyday life, the small moments, and the emotional side of big decisions. That storytelling resonated in a way I hadn’t anticipated.
What excited me most was that Reheated Coffee Club didn’t require me to become someone else. It worked because it was real. As it grew, it evolved into a platform that connects families to local businesses, schools, events, and experiences—especially in Connecticut—through a lens of authenticity. It became about slowing down, noticing what’s around you, and building community in the middle of real life… even if your coffee needs reheating more than once.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Ellie, the creator behind Reheated Coffee Club. I’m a mom, storyteller, and content creator who built this platform around real life—messy, beautiful, in-between moments and all. I came into this work organically, but with a strong business foundation. I hold an MBA in Marketing and spent years working on the backend of content creation, not as a face-on creator, which means I understand the strategy behind what works: SEO, analytics, engagement patterns, audience behavior, and how content actually performs for brands.

Reheated Coffee Club offers strategic content creation and storytelling for brands, businesses, and organizations. I create short-form video, social content, and partnerships that highlight local experiences, family-friendly destinations, and community-driven stories in a way that feels natural and relatable—not overly produced or salesy.
Because I understand both the creative and analytical sides of content, I’m able to create work that not only feels authentic but also performs. What sets me apart is that I approach content through a business lens first and a creator lens second. I know how to align storytelling with brand goals, measure impact, and adjust based on data—not just trends.
For clients, I solve the problem of visibility without losing trust. Many brands want to connect with families and women but struggle to do so in a way that feels genuine. I help bridge that gap by creating content that’s lived-in, thoughtful, and strategically sound.
Beyond content creation, I also offer consulting, event planning, and event hosting, helping brands and organizations bring their stories to life both online and in real-world settings. I’m especially passionate about creating experiences that build community and meaningful connections. I’ll also be launching a podcast soon, expanding Reheated Coffee Club into longer-form conversations centered around community, storytelling, and everyday life.
What I’m most proud of is the community that’s grown around Reheated Coffee Club. It’s a space built on trust—where people come for recommendations, reassurance, and honest conversations. At the end of the day, I’m a creative, but I’m also a business owner. Everything I build is intentional, strategic, and rooted in connection. Reheated Coffee Club isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about creating work that lasts and actually makes an impact.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my life and business was moving from Florida to Connecticut. We left behind our community, routines, and support system and started over without the “tribe” we had built for years. It was exciting, but also isolating in a way I wasn’t fully prepared for.
Professionally, it forced me to rethink how I showed up. I had to rebuild relationships, learn a new place from scratch, and trust that the community I’d built online could translate into real connection in a new state. Personally, it pushed me to get uncomfortable, ask for help, and find belonging again in unfamiliar spaces.
That pivot ultimately reshaped my business for the better. It deepened my storytelling, strengthened my connection to my audience, and turned Reheated Coffee Club into something more rooted in community than ever before. Starting over was hard—but it clarified what mattered and gave my work more purpose.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience by showing up consistently and honestly before I ever thought about growth or metrics. In the beginning, I wasn’t trying to go viral or follow trends—I was sharing real life as it was happening, especially around motherhood, relocation, and everyday moments. People connected because it felt familiar and relatable, not polished or performative.
As my background in marketing kicked in, I became more intentional. I paid close attention to what people were responding to, how they were engaging, and what questions they kept asking. I treated my content like a conversation, not a broadcast. That meant listening just as much as posting, and adjusting based on both data and intuition.
My biggest advice for anyone starting out is to stop trying to sound like everyone else. Clarity and consistency matter more than perfection. Share something you actually care about, show up regularly, and give people a reason to trust you. Growth happens when people feel seen—not when content feels forced. People can see right through B.S. so be AUTHENTIC and growth will happen organically.
