We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ellen Nguyen a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ellen, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

Ellen, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hi. I’m Ellen Nguyen. I’m a nail artist and I’m manager of LOVELY NAILS salon in Hinesville Georgia. I attended cosmetology school where I developed my passion for nails art, and things took off. I’m love drawing and i love beauty. My style can be described in one word: elegant. I pull inspiration from a lot of things around me when creating my distinct looks that use colorfully color powder and crystal. I’m inspired by so many things and i see beauty in everything. I love to learn more thing about my career and take care customer is my goals. Lovely Nails salon is my brainchild, i put all my brain and hard-work on it. When Hinesville area is very new to nails art compared to big cities, we bring a breath of fresh air in 2019 to this town and invest all kinds of products to get ready to work. People knows us by the work and environment we give for our customers. When trying to make a name for yourself in this industry, develop your own signature style. And be your best self- do only what you like to do and do it best.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media(Facebook,Instagram) i post my work on that with hashtags nails art and area where i work. Besides that i have tons support from Lovely nails salon and my team. We are build the name for Lovely team and for ourselves. Lovely nails post my work on their business social to spread my work for everyone in town know.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Most of my clients from Customer recommendation. They love my work and they keep telling people come to see me. That’s the best way advertisement. People come in and said: “I went to the bank and see the lady nails and ask her who did your nails? She said Ellen at Lovely nails. And not only one person few lady i met they said you did their nails. I was surprised because their hands are so beautiful and quickly booked an appointment with you”. I’m glad i make women around me look more pretty
