Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elizabeth Stampfli. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Elizabeth , thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
When it comes to a wedding photographer you may think it’s about taking pretty photos, which is not wrong but that’s not the only thing. It is about creating and curating an experience that is specific to your couple and their needs. My goal is to make all of my couples feel valued and loved and to provide them with a positive experience that they never forget, and of course, deliver photos that capture memories that last a lifetime.
Through the process of growing my business, I learned really quickly that not every wedding, engagement session, or couple is the same, so therefore my experience shouldn’t be the same for everyone either. Now the fundamentals of who I am and how I run a business are the same but from the posing to the energy I give is dependent on my couple.
I am all about creating memories that you cherish and love for a lifetime, but I also want to create an experience that allows you to fully enjoy the experience. To make sure I accommodate each of my couples I meet with them to get to know them and I also use the engagement session to allow me to get to know them and who they are as a couple so that come the wedding day there is no guessing I already know what works and what does not work, so they can truly have a careful adn enjoyable wedding day.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Elizabeth, I am a wedding and portrait photographer located in the Atlanta area. I first fell in love with photography when I was about 7 years old. It wasn’t until I was about 16 that I got my first camera and I was obsessed. I honestly never thought about doing Photography as a full-time gig but here we are and I am finally living the dream. When COVID hit and I started working from home I took a deep dive into learning all the ins and out of photography and started taking pictures for free for families and friends. In the winter of 2020, I booked my first wedding for 2021. I was so surprised that I was actually doing it and I was becoming a photographer that people trust to capture the most important day of their life. Here I am now 3 years later and I am still living the dream and doing what I love and serving the most beautiful couples.
