Dominique, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I feel the biggest part of becoming successful is believing in yourself. So many times we look for validation from others when the real magic lies within.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I’ve found dog grooming to be one of the most therapeutic things I do daily. When I first started I never knew how many lives I would affect. Being able to service elderly pets or even provide creative color for clients really makes a huge difference. Thanks to being successful in this business I was discovered by an amazing webseries show called “Chasing Atlanta” on YouTube. Since then the sky has been the limit.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

At a very young age I was put out of my home because of my sexuality. Due to this I faced many challenges but didn’t let any of them defeat me. I started my first job at Petsmart as a groomer and the rest was history.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

I found that social media is the best advertisement currently. It allows my client to engage with content. Also it’s an amazing way to gain new followers and loyal clients.
