We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dominique Markowicz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Dominique, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The story behind starting With God really began with an unexpected encounter with the presence of God that totally transformed my life. God completely revealed Himself to me this year and I realized I needed to do more than just live my faith—I wanted to share it, and in a way that would resonate with a generation so lost.

With God is a brand that lets people proudly wear their faith while starting conversations and maybe even introducing someone to God for the first time, the whole goal is to make Jesus cool again.

I wanted to go beyond just making Christian clothing; I wanted to build a movement of people who are unashamed of their faith and look good while doing it! It’s about creating a space where people can express their love for God without it feeling outdated or boring. It’s a passion that’s really personal to me because God changed my life and how I view everything, and I want to help Him transform others’ lives too.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My path to starting this brand isn’t your typical fashion story. For years, I worked as an interior designer and project developer in the real estate industry. Designing clothes wasn’t something I had experience with or ever even envisioned for myself, but earlier this year, God led me to step away from that career and start something new—a brand that merges faith and style in a meaningful way.

After God had such a profound impact on my life, I felt called to create a brand that lets people represent their faith in a way that feels modern and authentic. Shortly after, I met a business partner who shared the same vision, and within just a few weeks, we got things off the ground… talk about divine timing.

Our brand isn’t just about apparel; it’s about creating pieces that allow people to express their beliefs confidently and start conversations about their faith. Eventually, we have bigger ambitions to host faith-based events, promote physical and mental health, and give back as much as we can to the community. Our goal is to empower God’s people and create a space where faith, wellness, and community intersect.

I’m proud of how quickly we’ve grown and the feedback we’ve received from people who feel more empowered to share their faith because of what we’re doing.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

I met my business partner at the lowest point in my life, when I felt like everything around me was unraveling—even though I had never been closer to God. It was one of those years where the challenges just kept coming, and I found myself at my weakest, questioning how much more I could handle. Then, on my birthday weekend, I went to a pool party. I wasn’t expecting anything significant to happen that day, but God had other plans. That’s when I met him—my future business partner and, as it turns out, my life partner.

It wasn’t just coincidence; it was divine timing. He came into my life exactly when I needed him, and from that moment, everything shifted. Both of us were thriving in our own lives and careers, but God called us to lay all of that down. We were pulled toward something bigger, something we couldn’t ignore: building this business and helping God’s people. We had both seen so many people struggling—physically, mentally, spiritually—and we knew we were meant to do more than just succeed in our own lanes. We were called to serve.

That meeting wasn’t just about business; it was the start of a purpose-driven mission to uplift and empower others, and to build something that could point people back to God when they need Him most.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Right after launching With God, my life took a devastating turn. My best friend, who had been battling cancer for six months, passed away. Losing him was an immense heartbreak, and in that same week, I found myself in the ER with a life-threatening infection in my neck. It felt like the weight of the world was crashing down on me, and I had reached a new low. My faith was tested to its limits.

In that moment of complete exhaustion, I knew I couldn’t carry it all by myself anymore. I decided to fully surrender to God, to let Him take control of my life and lead me through the storm. That surrender marked a shift in everything. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself wholeheartedly to this brand and the mission God has called me to fulfill. Those trials didn’t break me; they built a deeper faith and stronger purpose, and my newfound life purpose is to help others to do the same.
