We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Doc Fuller. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Doc below.
Hi Doc, thanks for joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
Starting with my business name alone “J4 Events” was inspired by my 4 kids in which all they names starts with the letter “J” (Jayden, Jailyn, Ja’Niya and Jayce). My hope is to build a brand so that one day they can continue and take it to the next level. All I do is for them! They will be able to see the things I did, created and attended and they will be able to say “that’s my dad” or “my did made that” etc. I can’t help but to often think, with all the events I have been apart of, it’s no doubt that I will be remembered. Some often refer to me as the “Goat”.

Doc, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Quinest “Doc” Fuller, CEO of J4Events. I’m an event designer who makes and rent props for events. My props are suitable for kids and adults events. Baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries etc. I start this business back in 2014 full time. The startup of the business was rough. Before I went full time with my business I only gross $700 for the year, I was work in a factory for 14 years. With hard work , late nights and early mornings I was able to walk away from my job of years and build my brand.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built a healthy fan base on social media by posting.. You have to stay fresh and up on the times.. I often tell people to “hashtag” as much as possible… People often want to feel like they know the real you! I would go live and let me fans see me paint of build props. I’ve rent viral a few times, mostly having a hand in celebrity events. The best form of advertising, which started before social media was “word of Mouth “. That still exists and works. A happy customer will spread the word on the great experience.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think the quality of work, blood, sweat and tears along with my dedication all helped to build my reputation. I want to client to be pleased with my service(s). Therefore they will hopefully return time after time after time..
