We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Diane Vivian. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Diane below.
Alright, Diane thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
I have been very blessed to enjoy success since the early 80s when I decided I wanted to be my own boss and run my own graphic design, marketing and branding business. A key ingredient that I believe has always made a difference for me is number one, belief in my talent, belief in what I can offer to a client in need, enjoyment and passion for my work, and continuing to enjoy the satisfaction of knowing I have done a job well and pleased the person that hired me. That positive attitude combined with continuous action, always networking to make new friends, new contacts, having good follow-up for people who express interest in my work, delivering on my promises and masterminding when I needed. I am a self starter, self-motivated, and take great joy in pleasing my client.
In more recent years as I have learned the importance of collecting precious metals, the company that I affiliate myself with has taught me invaluable lessons that I share with as many who are willing to listen. I use the same principles of passion for what I believe, continuous action, keeping to a definite plan and keeping my thoughts positive, positive, positive has had a huge impact on my success. I have to believe in myself in my creative world as well as belief in the truth and benefits of owning tangible precious metals in my financial world. It’s these principles that give me the success I desire and continues to bless me.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I have been a person who always enjoyed being creative, growing up in a Catholic school, Friday was always art class. And I couldn’t wait for Fridays. As a college student, I enjoyed working towards my bachelor’s degree in fine art. But I knew I would never really make any money as a fine artist, so I decided to teach myself how to be a graphic artist. I did this before computers. I was able to carve out a very successful business for myself in the Central Florida area. I went through a bit of a learning curve when computers came along, but I knew they were the future and I had to jump on that bandwagon, which I’m so glad I did. As a graphic artist, I call myself a branding and marketing specialist where I create logo designs, collateral material, digital artwork, social media branding, website design, really anything that can help a company market themselves professionally and competitively. I love taking a young company that needs a stronger brand and create that brand for them so they feel proud and competitive in their market. I do all the work myself, and I thoroughly enjoy the one-on-one relationship I develop with each client. I look at each art project as a chance to create something that will emphasize the uniqueness of the client and their business. I can offer my services at a very reasonable rate since I work at home and love the freedom it affords me while I help each client achieve their business goals. I have intense satisfaction each time I complete a project to my clients pleasure and know they are excited about sharing it with the world. Whether it be a logo design, business card, any type of collateral, website design, every project is different and challenging in its own way but that’s where the confidence in myself plays such an important role to know that I have the talent and the ability to create what I need for each client individually so they are in love with what’s been created.
In the precious metals arena — just being able to share such important information which could bring life changing results to a family’s life is very rewarding. Helping people attain a better lifestyle through collecting and stacking tangible silver and gold now and not later is crucially important right now and knowing I can offer access to a company that is honest gives me great confidence and passion to share this information with as many as possible.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I have stayed successful all these years through referrals and recommendations from prior and current clients. No advertising. Just word of mouth and me delivering on my word. Always keeping my promises. And taking great care to deliver quality work. Going that extra mile if necessary to make sure each project as perfect as possible.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Networking, building relationships and word of mouth referrals. It has been my life blood for both businesses.
