Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Diana Almaguer . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Diana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
Hi! My name is Diana but many people know me by “D”. When my small business story began I said it’s chamoy, let’s go ahead and throw in the D before Chamoy! Something simple.
Diana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Growing up I LOVED candy. I was a cavity queen! I recently left my dental assisting job because I was ready for change. Being a wife, mother of 2 and having a full time job is definitely not easy. January of 2021 I came up with the idea of giving this whole chamoy thing a try after trying so many. I told my husband we must come up with a BETTER ONE! As of now we have been beyond successful. We offer chamoy dips in five different flavors, variety of chamoy candy, mexican chips, and looking into adding more snacks! Even after the inflation, we tried our best to keep prices low because there are some competitors out there that over price like crazy for a piece of candy. To this day we have many returning customers that tell us we are the best out there!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Share. Share. Share. If anyone wants to support, they will follow you!
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Definitely word of mouth and being consistent on social media.
