PCF Scuba, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

Feel like being an artist is the best decision I could’ve made it’s lots of ups and down but overall couldn’t ask God to put me in a different profession. Growing up in Detroit you see many different its rappers and different types of music so naturally it was something I always had a passion for.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Yo, I’m PCF Scuba aka Scoob. Im a 17 year old rapper from Detroit’s Westside. I can be found on all platforms under the name PCF Scuba. I provide a variety of different types of music from slow love songs to wild strike music. Im an all around versatile artist who just raps about the life i grew up around and had to deal with to just everyday feelings i have that people can relate to.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

The goal behind this journey is to build something bigger than myself. At the end of the day we all going to grow and get older and the streets don’t last forever. Dealing with the streets you’ll just end up dead and forgotten. I want to build a legacy that generations down will remember the same way Tupac and Biggie did it.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

As a society we have a habit of bringing other people down instead of wanting to see them grow. People will like what your doing and still not support you because they don’t want to see you eat if their not at the table with you. As a society we have to build something together and want to help each other out instead of bringing each other down. Life is too short to waste time worrying and hating on the next person when you don’t got your shit together yourself.
