I got my first client by cold calling and visiting locations in person, determined to introduce Market Match to as many potential partners as possible. After several rejections, I finally connected with a business owner who saw the value in what Market Match could offer. We had an in-depth conversation about their needs, and by the end of the meeting, they signed up for our service. That first sale felt incredible, knowing that my persistence had paid off and that my business had officially earned its first dollar.

My name is Demetrie King, and I founded Market Match to bridge the gap between businesses and their customers through precise inventory forecasting and enhanced event management. I got into this industry by recognizing the need for a tool that could help businesses better understand and meet their customers’ needs. Market Match provides services that improve inventory management, enhance the attendee experience at events, and ultimately drive more revenue for our clients. What sets us apart is our tailored approach and commitment to our clients’ success. I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had in helping businesses optimize their operations and grow. I built my audience on social media entirely organically, focusing on authentic engagement and providing valuable content that resonated with my target audience. I prioritized consistency and transparency, sharing insights, success stories, and tips that aligned with the needs and interests of my followers. My advice for those just starting to build their social media presence is to stay true to your brand, be consistent in your messaging, and focus on creating content that genuinely connects with your audience. Organic growth may take time, but it leads to a more engaged and loyal following.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has been networking within the entertainment and event industries. I’m particularly interested in working with businesses that offer digital tickets for upcoming events. By targeting these industries, I’ve been able to connect with clients who benefit most from Market Match’s services, helping them optimize their inventory and enhance their customer experience.
