We were lucky to catch up with Demeshia (Jordan) Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Demeshia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission the drives your brand?
The story behind our mission is to remind everyone & every women that they are Royalty, that beauty comes from the inside out. Our clothing just adds the finishing touches. Our company believes in God and we operate integrity, we create an atmospheric of joy, peace, and, happiness. We want our customers to be fashionable and not only feel beautiful on the outside but also on the inside too. We believe in feeling good spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, and physically are very important. We provide quality, affordable prices, and one of a kind hand picked items. We stave on having faith, love, & a whole lots of charisma.

Demeshia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Demeshia Williams but I usually go by Jordan. I was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Los Angeles, California. And I am now currently living back in Dallas, Texas. I am a new mom of a beautiful, loving, talented baby girl. As a new mom even those life gets hard sometimes and we may deal with obstacles in our lives I feel we should still strive to be good role models and great examples for our kids.
I have always loved Fashion growing up and wanted to work in the Fashion Industry.
I attended The Art Institute in California where I received my degree in Fashion Design. I have been into Fashion since I was a little girl. Gowning up I enjoyed designing clothes, designing handmade jewelry, sewing, painting, and creating art. I have been apart of serval Fashion Shows and Events, Pop-Up Shops in various places and attended trades shows to get inspiration. I am also a part of a Networking Groups for Entrepreneurs, meeting with other artist, other designers, in the fashion Industry and boutique owners. I enjoy volunteering in my community and networking with like minded people in business and fashion. I believe in God and my favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ that strengths me” I totally believe that with God nothing is impossible. I current have a Online Boutique called Royal Torch Boutique . Which is a Online store for Women’s Appeal and Accessories. We have two mottes My motte is: “Every Woman’s Flame Burns Hot because every woman is Royalty”. And “Every Woman is Royalty”. I created graphic T-shirts, Handbags, and Face Mask with our motto on it. I believe every women is Royalty and that beauty comes from the inside out. What sets us apart from others is that we believe at our company as women we should have confidence, morals, know our worth, values, and believe in ourselves. And that our clothing just adds the finishing touches to what the woman already has with in her.
In my company we like to provide quality material, affordable prices, and one of a kind hand picked items. I like to operate integrity and creating an environment for our customers to be able to express themselves through fashion and a place for our customers to be and feel confidence in what they are wearing. We want our customers to be fashionable and not only feel beautiful on the outside but also on the inside too. I believe in feeling good spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, and physically are very important as well to our lives. I believe that when life gets hard and things seem to be going wrong in our lives that we should still stave to having faith, love, & a whole lots of charisma.
Any advice for managing a team?
My advice on managing a team and maintaining high morale. I like to create an atmospheric of love, joy, peace, laughter, and, happiness with anyone I met and come in contact with rather it be customers, employees, family, or friends. Even those we want our customers to be fashionable and feel beautiful on the outside we also want them to feel good on the inside too. And that should also go for your team as well. I believe that creating a healthy, helpful, safe, environment with your team it creates a since of unity and family. And when your team feels a since of unity, peace, and can ask you any question it helps them to feel confidence in their job and what they are doing.

Have you ever had to pivot?
A time where I had to pivot in life. We all have had some difficult times especially during this Pandemic and with life in general. We are all learning how to pivot in life. Rather that’s in our personal lives, business, or careers. We are constantly changing rather we like it or not. We are all striving to have the best and do our best to make it in this thing called “Life”. Life has been difficult and thru us all some curveballs but it is up to us to not let it get the best of us. We are stronger and smarter than that. I had my daughter during the Pandemic and dealt with some obstacle in my life. After having my daughter, I dealt with Postpartum and some changes in my life. But we all have to remember like the old church saying goes “Trouble doesn’t last always and that joy comes in the morning”. You have to still get up every morning and ask God for strength and peace every single day. And he will give you the strength that you need to push through tough times and I am a witness to that. You also need to have a great support system and people that believe in you and want the best for you . And that believes in your vison, and what you want in life. You need a good firm foundation and believe in ourselves and know that things will get better and working out the way its support to be. Found and create a positive outlet for expressing how you truthy feel and getting the help you need and knowing that things will get better just take the small steps toward moving forward and over time things will change for the better. I believe I have grown a lot over this time and I am blossoming into the woman that God has prepared me to be.
