We recently connected with Danielle Rebuck and have shared our conversation below.
Danielle, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
10 years ago I became a mom for the first time. Like many first time moms I was met with many adversities and adjustments. While I had an amazing community surrounding me there were plenty of times where I felt both isolated and alone. I would constantly wonder if I was doing things “right” as a mom. Constantly question motherhood and was yearning for a space where I could retreat to when I needed support. It did not exist.
After having my second child I became more confident and without a doubt grew into motherhood. I was firm in my decisions and knew how I wanted to parent. I became a doula and my eyes were opened up to a world where I saw so much beauty but also an immense lack of support for mothers and fathers. I have spent almost 9 years supporting families through birth and postpartum and constantly see the need where continued support is essential.
Fast forward to 2022 and 2 more babies added to our crew (We are happy family of SIX!). My family and I decided to make the move to North Florida from South Florida looking for a slower pace and smaller community to grow into. What I found was a lack of familial support and lack of spaces for families to authentically gather. I tossed around with many ideas on how to help fulfill this need and revisited the idea of opening up an indoor play space that I had dreamt of years before.
As a doula I only see my clients for so long after they welcome their baby and I thought having a space where they can continue to come to for support for several years thereafter would be incredible! I knew I did not want to proceed on this venture alone so I enlisted the help of my my mother (who is my best friend!). She agreed to come along for the ride.
With my doula background and personal motherhood experience we set out to build a space where families could gather, create memories and embrace play.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We provide a Montessori inspired indoor play space with a true cafe component. We not only provide doula services through Danielle’s doula agency but also bridge the gap between postpartum and toddlerhood. Icing on the cake is being able to collaborate with local bakeries and local coffee breweries to provide the best cafe options to our customer base.
I want our community to know that every inch of our space was built with them in mind. We strategically planned our space to inclusive and to promote connection in a non stimulating environment.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Authenticity.
We thrive on this. What you see is what you get. There are no rose colored glasses here and we do not need to prove ourselves. We believe in doing the next right thing and allowing what we do to attract our customer base.
Staying authentic to who you are and your brand drives clientele!

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
The energy in our space is another integral part to our success. We work as a team and love collaborating and taking ideas from our staff. We consistently meet together and discuss ways we can better our space.
