Hi Danielle, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
I have always been interested in health and wellness. Growing up, my family and friends always said I was a foodie. I started my Instagram blog, @healthywithdani in March of 2020, during quarantine. This was the perfect time to start an Instagram blog because I was doing virtual school, and had a lot of free time at home. I wanted to have a place to share recipes, restaurants, and brands I love. I have been posting regularly on my Instagram account ever since.
My goal is to inspire people to live a healthy, well-balanced life. As a college student, living a healthy lifestyle is so important. Each week, I create a schedule to stay healthy with recipe ideas and workout classes at the fitness center on campus. Staying organized with a content calendar is the key to success.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Danielle and my Instagram account is @healthywithdani ! I am a health, wellness, and lifestyle influencer. I post recipes and share my favorite brands. I also love to create content and work with different companies.
I have recently been working with companies in the Tampa area and would like to continue to work with restaurants, coffee shops, etc. I am proud that I am inspiring my followers to live a healthy, well-balanced life. I also have a passion for social media. This past summer I had an internship doing social media and public relations for a health-based brand. I have been doing social media management for multiple companies and my goal is to continue to expand this business.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I have been discovering what content works well and what drives the most engagement for the brands that I work with. When working with brands, my goal is to create unique content that will help drive engagement and sales for the product I am promoting. I love when brands are able to re-purpose my Instagram posts, reels, etc. for their own social media and marketing campaigns.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I started to build my audience by forming relationships with brands and giving them feedback on their products. These connections with businesses led me to do giveaways and collaborations on my Instagram page. I continued to review and post products that I loved. I consistently posted Instagram reels, photos, and stories and my audience continued to grow. My piece of advice for anyone trying to build their audience on social media is to find a niche and stick with it! This will help you form a community of people who are interested in your content!
