When I think about my legacy, I hope to be remembered for making a positive difference through my work and active participation in the community. Inspiring future generations to create positive change is a key goal for me. It is important that my actions have a lasting, positive impact on those around me. Hello, My name is Dakota Whatley, and I am the owner of Whatley Technology Services, a technology-based business. We provide a range of services including Tech Support services, Website Development services, Business Development services, and Videography services. I entered the technology field due to my fascination with computers, and I discovered a passion for problem-solving while assisting clients with their tech issues. I take pride in offering innovative solutions and personalized services to meet the unique needs of each client.
I am deeply involved within the community and am a part of several organizations. I am passionate about engaging with the community and meeting new people. I believe that simple conversations can lead to profound learning experiences. I am proud of the connections I have made and the impact I have been able to create through my community involvement. Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I believe the most effective strategy for growing clientele is prioritizing client needs and ensuring their satisfaction. I always strive to complete every service to the best of my ability, constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and service delivery. Happy clients tend to recommend your services to others, leading to more business opportunities. By focusing on client satisfaction, I have seen a positive impact on growing my clientele.


Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
Yes, I would often get contacted about different technology-related issues while working my full-time IT job. The need for help with technology started with family and friends, then spread to people in the community. I saw a need that I could fill, so I wanted to explore that opportunity and see where I could take it. Scaling my business to where it is today wasn’t easy, but having a great support system and always being willing to learn and evolve has been crucial. As of now, I’m still learning and evolving. A key milestone for me has been growing my clientele and forming great relationships with different businesses and organizations.
